I wrote a short story about a pair of book loving strangers who secretly crush on each other from afar in a library. Featuring hidden notes, reading recommendations, and the art of absolutely going for it. That’s the vibe we’re aiming for this summer.

One of my favorite movies of the year! (After you watch, you'll get how funny this caption is).
Screaming, crying, throwing-up. IT ENDS is 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

I need a timeloop situation so I can catch up on all the books and movies in my queue (and also maybe have my own whimsical and zany timeloop rom-com plot—who's to say!)

THE INVITE (now playing at @TheLittleRoch) is one of the best movies of the year. For fans of: 1. Comedy. The guffaw-per-minute rate is off-the-charts. 2. Things that make us a little sad. Hey, we like to feel things! 3. Nose boops 4. Seth Rogen's laugh

5. Olivia Wilde. Just a powerhouse of directing and acting from her (exquisite facial expressions!) 6. A script with wit and plenty of surprises. Rashida Jones and Will McCormack nailed it. 7. If wine is your beverage, this is will pair SUPER well with wine.

My dream offseason move for the Sabres (that's technically possible, but very unlikely): A monster offer sheet for Adam Fantilli. A bit risky, but worth the gamble imo. I'd hope they reach out about offer-sheeting Bedard or Leo Carlsson too, but that seems unfortunately futile.

watching movies together is actually quite romantic because you experience every emotion together

Just discovered Orange Glory has a chocolate chip cookie but with junior mints instead chips. This is the type of innovation we need more of in 2026.

The movie theater is my happy place. For a long time it was the only thing to get me out of the house. The previews, the posters, the popcorn.. I cherish every moment. Going to the theater has helped me get through hard times, and introduced me to so many moviegoing friends.

btw, if anyone wants any @TheLittleRoch standees after a movie is done playing, it’s both super cool home decor AND you’d be doing us at the theatre a favor!
Guy at the theater let me have the giant cardboard Bugonia standee!

My recent gripe about film intros is SPOILERS. Multiple times this summer an intro for a repertory title has straight-up ruined key plot points. Not even analysis, mind you, just a reading of what happens. Who's that for? Certainly not the people watching for the first time!
Pet peeve: but your intro to a screening shouldn’t be a full review of a film. Give some background, set up and get off the stage. Anyways, I’m sitting through **checks watch** a 15-minute intro right now at a festival.
