You've gotta patch your dependencies super fast because they're full of vulns (PHP, Node, eMudhra, etc), but not _too_ fast because they're full of backdoors (LiteLLM). Good luck!

LinkedIn is going to go INSANE on Thanksgiving when the leading researchers posting there find out about PHP xitter.cf/ZackKorman/status/2112…
Just wait until next week when the sales teams find out about this.

"Look up candidates on [sample ballot] - ignore federal, governor. For each contested justice, judge, or appraisal district candidate find differentiating factors, summarize their experience and policy leanings" has saved me so much time over doing searches manually.

Let’s set the record straight: @lcfr_hax was the first to discover php2shell and develop a working exploit. See his August 5 tweet: xitter.cf/lcfr_hax/status/208503… His work convinced the PHP Foundation to invest in fixing this entire bug class. He then worked around the clock to review, test, and retest the patches.

PHP is shipping a security release tomorrow, Oct 21, at 10:00 AM ET for two critical vulnerabilities, rated CVSS 9.2 per @ThePHPF. It could land earlier if details go public or exploitation shows up. @watchtowrcyber says details already leaked, that both are remote code execution, and rates them a 10. PHP hasn't confirmed any of that, but plan like it's true. Tonight: find every place PHP runs, check versions with php -v and php-fpm -v, and line up a patch window for the morning. Anything older than 8.2 is end of life, so don't expect a fix there. Every PHP install without an owner is attack surface you can cut today.
