The coach may have been right.
But I was so angry that my emotion was louder than his instruction.
Every mistake doesn’t need a complete in-game breakdown.
Sometimes the athlete needs one clear direction now—and the full conversation later.
Truth matters. Timing matters too.

Salute to “TheRiot”
🎉 RYAN THERIOT IS A HALL OF FAMER!
Ryan Theriot got the surprise on AFR when he learned he has been elected to the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2027! 🏆⚾️
Ryan had no idea the announcement was coming — and his family was there to celebrate the moment with him. ❤️
From starring at LSU to winning a national championship and playing in the Major Leagues, Theriot’s impact on Louisiana baseball runs deep.
He’ll officially be inducted next June in Natchitoches, alongside some of the biggest names in Louisiana sports history.
Congratulations, Ryan! Well deserved! 👏

KOBE BRYANT ON MENTAL TOUGHNESS
🎯 “Being mentally tough means you can take your mind someplace else.
Concentrate on that other thing to the point where the thing that was bothering you is no longer a focus and you don’t feel it anymore.”

Alright, let’s have some fun. 🐟
The HBCU Power Series is rolling into Trustmark Park February 12–15, and it’s about to turn into three straight days of loud, colorful, high-energy baseball. Six proud HBCU programs. Real competition. Big moments. All happening right here, in conjunction with @MLB.
This is baseball with personality. Rivalries, pageantry, and a ballpark that’s going to feel very much alive all weekend long. If you like your baseball with a little extra spice and a lot of energy, this one’s for you.
Tickets are on sale, the schedule is set, and yes… you’re going to want to circle this one.
