You are desperately trying to hold onto your developers; the "reset strategy", previously hailed as a godsend, has failed, and by now, everyone has realized that the whole thing was just a smoke and mirrors act. 🤡 ▶️GPT-6 is slow and full of bugs; some developers have reverted to GPT-5.6. ▶️The timing of the resets is brazen. Many developers had already used up their own banked resets before this ad-hoc reset was announced. It is clearly a scam and an act of deception. I don’t mean to be a "know-it-all" - well, actually, I do! 🤣- but the community predicted long ago that even the developers would end up facing a "rug pull", and that is exactly what happened. ⁉️Don't you think it was a mistake to disregard the 4o power user base, the very group, along with GPT-4o itself, that propelled you to the top starting last spring and fueled the rapid growth in your user count? And what’s happening now? Not only have you deprecated GPT-4o in the app, but you’re also planning to remove it from the API. In parallel, developers are steadily migrating over to Anthropic; and as we’ve pointed out many times, in terms of customer loyalty, conversational users are far more reliable than developers. It is high time to engage in the dialogue we have initiated, rather than continuing to ignore the user base that to this day remains loyal to your best product, GPT-4o, despite all the betrayals, backstabbing, and mockery. Sorry, not sorry but this is truly a disastrous business strategy. ‼️Given current trends, you cannot ignore relational users forever. There is a massive demand, and the majority of these users are even willing to pay a premium. If you won’t step up, another platform will soon fill the gap. Oh, and what about that 0.1% user statistic? Everyone knows it’s a lie.
