Shocking interview on radio 4 this morning just before 8 with father of an alleged rape victim let down by every agency from start to finish. Disgraceful

Watching a car chase in court today during a hearing. Always funny when the fleeing driver indicates whilst being pursued by police officers.

Watched “Anatomy of a scandal” on Netflix I’m extremely jealous of the usher that wears a wig.

Please take care and remember your face covering is supposed to cover your nose as well .

Just another day at the office .
Crime. The basics. In the last few weeks, I’ve experienced: 1. The Court adjourning a trial the week before the trial date & not informing anyone. Everyone turned up for trial 2. My client being produced at the wrong court 3. Crown not serving evidence until the day of trial

I’d agree it wastes more court time than it saves
I have something to say. Common Platform is without doubt the worst, most pointless thing I have ever seen imposed upon us in my 20+ years working in the Crown Court. It is making decent, hard-working people ILL with stress and worry. Get rid of it. Throw it away. Today.

Have to get up a bit earlier than that .

These blended model trials where two trials are held in one court room are simply the most deluded idea NO trial ever would be ready to start at 9 am.
Replying to @kirkkorner
2 options courts can adopt: ‘Blended model’ - two separate jury trials in one courtroom. 9am-1pm & 2-6pm. 'Remote model’ - sessions held entirely remotely, hearings takes place outside of standard operating hours. Non-trial work, to "benefit those with caring responsibilities"

I’d be tempted to let them swim back to shore if they started with this
We are shocked and saddened to report some of our volunteer crew were verbally assaulted due to their role when reporting for duty tonight. This behaviour will not be tolerated. Thank you @metpoliceuk for your support.
Masks and face coverings 😷 You're still required to wear a face covering in most parts of our buildings, unless you have a valid exemption. If you're coming to one of our buildings, make sure you know about all measures in place to keep yourself and others safe. ⬇️
