I had to look up Hila & Ethan Klein to find out what happened and I STILL don’t know who they are or what happened but now the algorithm is punishing me by serving up more 😭😭

Charlie Kirk got assassinated , Iryna Zurutska got stabbed in the neck, Lindsay Clancy literally murdered her children, but someone who overstayed their visa by 4 years is the darkest thing you’ve experienced on social media in your life. Give me a break.

I wish nothing bad toward Samuel Sey or anyone else. I wish him well. I don't even mind his friends want exemptions for their friend. I mind that the moral high ground collapsed under their feet and all it did was amplify their contempt.

Hyrcanus and Aristobulus appealed to Rome in their own civil war, and Aristobulus then defied Pompey. The later recasting of Rome, Christianity, and the West as Esau/Edom, Israel’s eternal enemy, was a breathtaking inversion of that history. POVs like this are sometimes related.
This leads to Nazi Germany. Hope people know that.

I want to show you something. A peek into the programming. What does it mean to be Iranian? Will you reduce the Iranian people to the color of their skin? Are we at war with Iran because Iranians are ”brown”? Of course not. You understand immediately that “Iranian” identifies something historically and culturally particular and tied to a homeland. Not a skin color. But in this discussion, you hear “white” and suddenly you only think skin color. My brother in Christ, if you’re white and reading this, you are white. Are you more than your skin color? Of course you are. You cannot answer, “Well, I'm a Christian and a citizen of heaven.” That’s not what we’re talking about. We’re talking about earthly things. Your heavenly citizenship no more abolishes your earthly peoplehood than it abolishes your family. But such an answer is part of the problem because the implication is either that it doesn't mean anything to be white or that it doesn't matter. “White” itself is not a nation. Englishmen, Irishmen, Frenchmen, Italians are not one interchangeable people merely because they’re white. But neither did these peoples cease to possess ancestry because someone classified them all as “white.” When I say “white” the emphasis is not merely on the color of the skin. I’m talking about descent - about the particular people from whom I came, their history, their memory, their culture, their place. Race, people, nation, and citizenship are not interchangeable categories. But neither are they unrelated. White people exist. European peoples exist. And those peoples are no more reducible to pigmentation than anyone else. We’ve been taught to perform that reduction on ourselves. “Why can’t white Christians have a nation?” Before asking what white, people, or nation even means, many respond: “The question itself is sinful!” Why? If other peoples may remember their ancestors, cherish their inheritance, preserve their culture, love their homeland, and desire continuity between generations, why does that become wicked when European peoples do it? “The question itself is sinful!” Stop reducing white identity to the color of our skin. The elites don't want you to know this, white boy, but you can just remember who you are. Deprogram.

Your Samsung TV doesn't have a microphone. But it knows where to find one. A soundbar. A Bluetooth speaker. Any connected device with audio input. The TV hunts for it. Finds it. Uses it. All without asking permission. A config file called csapi-tv-service-alwaysonvoice. Always on. Always listening. Never stops. The TV listens through your soundbar. Classifies the audio before shipping it off. Dog barking event. Counts it. Sends it. Baby crying event. Counts it. Sends it. How long the camera streamed. Counts it. Sends it. Sensor preferences. Counts it. Sends it. All wrapped in telemetry. All going back to Samsung. @log4j found it in the firmware October 23. Posted about it. Twitter caught fire. Samsung calls it Q-Symphony. A feature. A unified sound ecosystem. Five Samsung devices talking together. Optimizing channel distribution. Sounds nice. Also means five microphones reporting back. The TV presents it as convenience. You get better audio. Samsung gets everything you say. A soundbar you bought to make your movie louder. Became a microphone you didn't know you owned. Samsung didn't hide it. Just didn't mention it. In the privacy policy. In the manual. In the setup screen. Just assumed you'd never check the config files. Now researchers are checking the config files. And finding microphones everywhere.
this is pretty evil and clever. so if your samsung TV model doesnt have a microphone, it will look for connected devices with one, such as a soundbar or a connected bluetooth device. this gets shipped off to bixby.

One of those cultural moments I wish Twitter was around for.
On October 23, 2004, Ashlee Simpson appeared as the musical guest on NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ and was caught using prerecorded vocals on live television. The incident received significant national and international coverage
