years ago, I argued that the fandom ecosystem was destroyed when people started seeing fanfic as content to consume vs. being in community with fellow fans. This entire discourse has proven me right.

I’ve stayed away from Doomsday speculation because I’m fairly confident the plot (along with Secret Wars) is obvious if you have any knowledge of the comics. That being said my one ice cold take: I want Spider-Man, specifically Peter Parker, named as an anchor being.

I do think it’s impressive that the decision to have a 5 year time jump between Infinity War and Endgame is one of the most creatively interesting decisions in the MCU and then they decided to never meaningfully explore it
