The government has imposed on Buckinghamshire a ludicrous target of 91,000 new houses - a 43 per cent higher increase. Despite this, @BucksCouncil is finding a way to protect our Green Belt. The @bucksfreepress has the good news about the Local Plan ‡️ bucksfreepress.co.uk/news/26…

91,000-home Buckinghamshire plan allocates no new Green Belt housing sites

A plan setting out how Buckinghamshire could accommodate around 91,000 new homes, with no new housing sites allocated in the Green Belt, has gone out for final consultation.

Spotted this TV on Longbottom Lane between @seergreenbucks and @JordansVillage - less than a mile from the Beaconsfield tip, where it could have been taken for free, and where I have now taken it. If you see fly-tipping, please report using fixmystreet.buckinghamshire.…

Good to start my 2026 council duties by attending the first @seergreenbucks Parish Council meeting of the year this evening. Local planning applications, tree felling, gritting routes and road sweeping were all on the agenda and are now on the to-do list!
