N7s, we have our mission. 🫡
Saturday, November 7: boot up Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Steam and let’s light up the public player charts.
Play what you already own. New sales just tell EA the IP earns fine sitting in the vault. Show them how many of us are still here.
Share this. Bring your crew. 💙 #SaveMassEffect #HoldTheLine

That’s 82% of the black men who voted. Not 82% of black men eligible to vote in the U.S.. and not 82% of black men living in the U.S.. it’s a fraction of a fraction.

I got you;
Food — Grandma Bob’s or Buddy’s for square pizza (Buddy’s was my favorite but I think GB might have the title for best square pizza in Detroit … square pizza is our thing) …. Motown deli for corned beef anything (it’s carryout only so you can get it delivered) … Sweetwater tavern for the best wings in the city .. Bucharest grill for the best shawarma … prim and proper for steaks and seafood … Savannah blue for elevated soul food … Vicente’s for Cuban … we also have Mexican town for Mexican food
Activities — walk through the newly rebuilt Greektown (also get some phenomenal Greek food) … stroll hart plaza for riverfront views … you can also walk from detroit to Canada on the brand new gordie Howe bridge (it’s just under two miles) … campus Martius which is our town square so to speak and has a cute bar called parque where you can nab a drink …if you like gambling, MGM casino … Hudson cafe and dime store for breakfast/brunch
Club/late night — speakeasy at Baru (their restaurant is also pretty good, Cutter’s, Bert’s at Eastern Market, rooftop at the Godfrey, drinks at Queen’s bar, rooftop at the Cambria … speakeasy at siren … for live music, it’s a spot in harmonie park right next door to Baru (can’t remember the name)
Hotel suggestions — Shinola, Cambria, Godfrey … you can got Marriott off the waterfront or book Cadillac Westin but i just don’t think those hotels are what they used to be.
As for your coney experience … Lafayette coney downtown (chili dogs). However, i think you’re better off going to the neighborhood for your coney experience. My favorite is L George’s on 6 mile. Coney in the ‘hood means a full menu. The breakfast is outstanding, wings, wraps, etc.
I’m sure other Detroiters will chime in, but this is my welcome to the D starter pack.
