I'm not going to name the school, but the @BBC's coverage of the antisemitism in schools report featured interviews with children from a Jewish school.
Here's the rub, though.
The school's own published curriculum explicitly teaches Zionism, celebrates the establishment of Israel and describes preparing pupils to become "positive advocates for Israel" at university.
It even references bringing in organisations such as StandWithUs to prepare pupils for that advocacy.
Now, let me be absolutely clear. There is nothing wrong with teaching Jewish history, culture or identity. And antisemitism must be challenged wherever it exists.
But when children are actively encouraged to advocate for a particular state, rather than critically examine its history, policies and actions, surely we have to question whether this is education or ideological conditioning?
And here's the staggering hypocrisy.
We're being told that schools must exercise political impartiality when discussing Palestine, while a school can openly describe preparing children to advocate for Israel.
Political impartiality cannot be a principle applied selectively, depending on which side of a conflict children are encouraged to support.
And the BBC has a responsibility to scrutinise that distinction, not simply present children's views without examining the educational environment in which those views have developed.
Children deserve an education that teaches them how to think, not what to think.

How is this even legal?
Either the previous owner of Brewdog should be forced to cover this from their sale earnings or the private equity company who acquired them should be forced to pick up the bill.
This is exactly what is wrong with the world at the moment.

With the recent allegations against Yves Tumor, I want to share my own experience.
I’ve known Shanti for years and sang on “Lovely Sewer” on his last record. What followed was one of the most disrespectful professional experiences of my career.

A selection of articles published by The Spectator between August 01 and August 14 2026:
BREAKING: Jason Arday, the former University of Cambridge professor, has been found dead at an address in Battersea, according to reports.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitcan Police said the 41-year-old's death is not being treated as suspicious.
“Sadly, a 41-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next-of-kin have been informed and are being supported by officers," he said.
“At this time his death is being treated as unexpected, but is not believed to be suspicious.
"The case is being investigated by officers from the Met’s Central South Command Unit. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Hi @Dominos_UK I nearly got ran over by 2 or your delivery drivers yesterday. It was right outside Acton central station. I was in the middle of a zebra crossing and both drivers were going far too quickly. 1/2
