Minister: I think such kind of thinking and questioning is really old, old and outdated. Because today if you look at the sport industry, globally fast growing industry, you look at the sector, if you look at Africa today, only 0.5 of sports is representing GDP in Africa, while abroad it's at 2%. Why would we in Africa or Rwanda or other countries look at opportunities and tap into the opportunities and they become sports watching while in the rest of the world they see that as visionary thinking, they see that as growth. So I think when we do that, we are also linking and looking at how we grow our economies. We look at the opportunity that is in the sport industry. We move with the future, and we move where there are benefits. Journalist: But growth could also come with freedoms, more political freedoms at home, could it not? Why are the two incompatible? Minister: Absolutely no! One does not stop the other. And actually, you cannot be able to move and be able to develop your country and be at the position where we are 32 years only after the genocide against the Tutsi, when your people, when your country is not moving in the right direction. So I believe those are double standard ways of looking at our economies at Rwanda, at Africa, which we think is high time that we move and show the potential that Africa has, which we have proven so many times and we are ready to prove also in early 30s.
