i often forget that stella is in her 30s with how young she acts. that's not a complaint on her character; i actually find it very sad. she's been forced to remain dependent on men for her entire life, not allowed to discover her passions or get schooling like stolas.

andrealphus infantilizes her (and at the same time sexualizes her which is gross). her aggressive behavior as a child indicates that she might have adapted it from a young age and depended on it since. it may have helped a bit, but it never saved her from anything.

i know the actual intent behind her behavior is probably just to make her seem like a spoiled brat but you cant make a character an incest victim and not have people read into how that trauma might have affected them. even if it was meant to be a 'joke'
