virtually every democrat regardless of faction ran against the establishment, if they do not deliver tangible & immediate changes inside the party like appointing dynamic leaders that will echo the fighting spirit the moment requires, we will lose the momentum - voters will see this as a betrayal. no amount of msm narratives around schumer's tactical prowess will change this. there's a reason why both hakeem & chuck are unpopular among dem voters. we didn't forget how they maneuvered around the last two years.
we also have to destroy the seniority structure in the party & appoint competent people to the right committees!! zohran proved that a young dynamic figure can reshape the entire political landscape! i am very worried that "insider politics" and corporate focused leadership decisions is going to take us back to business as usual politics when we voted for CHANGE. we voted for a FIGHT. we voted for ACCOUNTABILITY.

Jennifer Welch: “The era of prostitution politics must come to an end. The problem with this era ending right now is Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer engage in prostitution politics where they take money from big tech and they take money from AIPAC, the same people that try to censor everyday Americans’ free speech by calling them bigots if they criticize a government that is targeting little kids with snipers and shooting them in the head”

This is legit how the American People feel right now. Accountability isn’t revenge. It allows for healing and progress. We can address affordability AND hold them accountable for fleecing the American People.
Folks are struggling and we haven’t seen the worst of it yet because all the horrible things go into effect next year.
Keep your foot on their necks folks!

Hasan Piker's message to @TheDemocrats in the wake of the power they secured on Tuesday night. He wants the Democrats to put belt to ass on the Republican Party and the Trump regime:
"PUT BELT TO ASS! Ten years from when he went down that dogshit golden escalator. Ten fucking years of fucking destroying this country even when he was out of office. Ten years, we have sat around and had to eat shit. We have never had this resounding of a victory. If the Democrats do not use the real people's mandate that we gave them on Tuesday, we will make them follow through.
This is a democracy. We will make sure you hold them to account and if you don't hold them to account, we'll hold YOU to account. We're going to continue mobilizing.
Put Jon Ossoff's sexy ass up on that fucking podium and put him to fucking work! He's so goddamn good at grilling people for the cameras; I want his fat ass sitting on a goddamn podium grilling the shit out of these people.
This is not about revenge. This is not about vengeance. This is about justice. This is about law and order."

Emma Vigeland CALLS OUT CNN for asking Talarico if he’ll “stand up to” El-Sayed:
What a PREPOSTEROUS way to frame that question, “Will you stand up to Democrats? Will you put a hold on this scary Muslim man, Abdul El-Sayed, will you? Talarico, please, please, good Christian man with the boyish looks will you save us from the scary Muslim guy that wants to give us all healthcare?”
Right as always
#News - Michigan Sen -Elect Abdul El-Sayed on CNN says he’ll support Md Sen Chris Van Hollen for Senate Majority Leader if Van Hollen decides to challenge Sen Chuck Schumer. El-Sayed says Van Hollen “would be amazing” in that role.

Bernie Sanders lost the fight in 2016. A decade later, he won the war.
Sanders’ brand of laser-focused economic populism trounced MAGA this week — winning not just with El-Sayed in Michigan, but Talarico’s in Texas and other red states.
Bernie isn’t surprised.
“No, I am not shocked,” he told me. “It’s what I’ve always believed.”

Alex Pearlman CRASHES OUT on Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries with Philip DeFranco
Florida should have been ours you stingy bitch, which is why you aren't going to be leader anymore.
To all the senators out there, if you want to have anybody when it comes to the left content creator sphere, you need to get rid of f*^cking Chuck Schumer —PICK ANOTHER LEADER
Hakeem, if you don't have a plan right now to make all of them as scared as Renee Good and Alex Pretti's murderers, then you should not be speaker

If a centrist had flipped the MI-07 seat (even by a slimmer margin), centrists would treat them as a deity with a secret formula for winning elections everywhere.
But because it’s an anti-genocide, pro-M4A candidate, the conversation is about “underperforming”.

Jennifer Welch: “I want to say this Chuck Schumer: we won in spite of you and we will do everything on this channel, everything, to make sure that you are not the Senate Majority Leader. You do not represent us. You’ve made it crystal clear who your loyalties are to. What you did to Angie Nixon, I will never ever forgive you. Quit taking victory laps on Twitter like you won this. Nobody likes you”

this was the catalyst. when the party bosses scoffed at bernie, he kept pushing. i saw these rallies firsthand. ppl were looking for answers to what had taken place in 24. bernie became the true leader of the party. his impact is felt w his rhetoric echoing through the most moderate campaigns this past year.

Congratulations, Abdul El-Sayed.
You turned that inshallah into alhamdulillah.
I am overwhelmed with gratitude knowing that we will now have 8 Muslims serving in Congress.
They told us we couldn't speak up, couldn't challenge the status quo, and couldn't make it this far. But we did.
Alhamdulillah.

Hasan Piker talked about keeping up the momentum felt last night after the blue tsunami and carrying that into the 2028 presidential election:
"If you feel so good right now, just think how good we will feel on the night of the primary victory for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and then, how good we will feel when she wins the presidency."

Or you can look at this way — Abdul’s vote share was only 2 points lower than Jocelyn Benson — a popular statewide elected official who faced an opponent that was abandoned by Republican outside groups weeks ago — after:
— Enduring the most disgusting onslaught of racist and Islamophobic attacks in modern political history
— An unprecedented onslaught of negative ads from outside groups dating back to the primary
— His primary opponent (who nearly defeated him) endorsing his general election opponent days before the primary
Replying to @mattyglesias
Winning Michigan by seven is just a lot less impressive than winning NC by 20 or Ohio or Kansas (!) by 5 or Iowa and South Carolina by 4 or Texas (!) by 12 and you should not trust people who can’t acknowledge the plain truth about this.
He does look good compared to Flanagan!
