I’m so sorry to this person, but I am in fucking tears over this lmfaoooooooo when it pans out hahahahahaha
i'm sort of waffling constantly between "everything is gonna be ok!" and "hahahaha the entire life i've built is going down the toilet!" and i think it makes sense and i have some grace for that but also it's fucking exhausting
when I was moving out of my studio into a 1bd in LA I was holding the door open for movers like halfway through them loading the truck and the guy very politely goes “you uhh got a lotta stuff for one lady…”

re: Ebert occasionally "missing" on a great movie, I think people forget that the point of criticizing art is not to be "correct," it's to engage with the work sincerely; a critic should be evaluated less on "correctness" and more the consistency/depth of their work
decided to rly put myself out there while i figure out my life and now i'm doing my very first proper film interview with one of my personal hiking/climbing heroes wtf 😭
you can really just ask to do stuff sometimes and ppl say yes
He’s just a goofy guy who loves to laugh! That’s my pal Chau!!!!

every day i get served an ad for a local CA prop that begins:
"there's nothing like seeing your parent deteriorate 😔😢"
but every time i hear it as:
"there's NOTHING like seeing your parent deteriorate! 🥳🤪😎"
Asking the important questions like: must a movie be good? Is it not enough to sit in the dark and see a beautiful spider, huge? In this house, we applaud the 80-minute B-tier creature feature!!!
