The drug class we are developing, Claromers, kill nearly all known germs (bacteria, viruses, fungi, and biofilms) with one simple devastating mechanism that has avoided microbial resistance for over 200 million years.
Claromers mimic a natural defense peptide in the human body called LL-37. Each Claromer molecule is very small, only dozens of atoms big - about 1/3 the size of the natural peptide. It is like a spear - a destructive end and a holding shaft or tail end. The shaft side is hydrophobic, which means it is water-avoiding and does not like to touch water. The other side - the pathogen destroyer - is highly positively charged (called “cationic” in science literature), like a powerful magnet that pulls toward anything negatively charged (called “anionic” in science).
Stanford bioengineering Assoc Prof Barron and colleagues wrote in a recent study of Claromers: “These amphipathic peptoids self-assembled in different ways, as determined by small-angle X-ray scattering; some adopt helical bundles, while others form core−shell ellipsoidal or worm-like micelles.” That means the groups form either short twisted bundles, like worms, or small oval shapes like a football. 🏈
The self-assembly into these nano structures I. the watery fluids of the body because the water-avoiding shaft-tails point inward toward each other , away from the water. The positive pathogen-killer ends stick outward like sharpened spears. The molecules stick together on their own into tight groups.
These groups attack like a three-dimensional Greek phalanx, a tight formation of soldiers. Like a football made of spears. The spears face out. Because each molecule is so tiny its mass is almost zero. When the positive killer ends feel the pull of the germ’s outer covering they accelerate from standing still to nearly the speed of light with almost no friction, like lightning bolt ⚡️ leaping towards the pathogen. The killer-football formation hits all at once the with huge kinetic energy and blows apart the outer membrane of the pathogen.
The germ cannot survive. It is destroyed in a microsecond.
Barron and colleagues also wrote: “While self-assembly correlated overall with antibacterial efficacy... Certain self-assembled morphologies seem better-suited for antibacterial activity.” The football 🏈 hits harder.
We choose the super effective oval shapes that mass the spears for the strongest hit.
This is objectively a good thing

What are we even doing if a judge can brazenly make things up to advance his own policy preferences, then invent excuses when caught, and the only consequence is removal from the case?
This should be a 435–0 vote in the House to impeach this guy, followed by his removal from the bench. Judges wield enormous power. They have the power to ruin lives, deprive people of their liberty, and make decisions that can literally mean life or death. It should be a total no brainer for every sane person that someone who abuses that power in this way has absolutely no business being on the bench.
Yet we all know what will happen. He won't be impeached and by tomorrow nobody will even be talking about it. The fact that this kinds of abuse can simply be shrugged off and forgotten tells you just how deep the rot in the judiciary runs.
I remember reading a blind on this topic a few months ago -- @grok helped me find it:
From @Grok : The closest match is the exclusive/gossip posts from @BarkJack_ (Theresa Longo Fans) in July and August 2026 about Thomas Markle Sr. preemptively documenting sworn statements to counter potential future claims.
Key posts:
July 8, 2026** (xitter.cf/BarkJack_/status/20748…): “We are aware, that Thomas Markle was counseled to preemptively document (with witnesses) certain sworn testimonies designed to refute future slander or negative narratives in event of his demise.” Replies immediately linked this to expected post-death accusations of child abuse/lies by Meghan.
August 17, 2026** (xitter.cf/BarkJack_/status/20891…): “Exclusive- Thomas Markle had to take necessary steps to avoid being marred posthumously. Apparently in speaking to certain people about a ‘book’ MM fantasizes writing, enough intel was gathered to not only tip Thomas off; but he was then advised to seek sworn, notarized written statements & video corroborations to refute a variety of hypothetically slanderous situations.”
This circulated in royal-gossip circles as an item about anticipated negative narratives (including abuse-related ones) tied to a potential Meghan book or posthumous claims. It aligns with longer-standing comments from figures like Lady Colin Campbell predicting that Meghan might level sexual/abuse accusations against her father once he could no longer defend himself.
Ok, well know Meghan has come forward and has personally given a statement, then there is no room for doubt. She has said she was told of the abuse in 2018.
“I hope it can now be understood that, despite certain media publications’ distortion over the years, any distance from my father and my choice to not allow him to have contact with our children, was for one reason: to protect them. I trusted that the authorities were doing the same for other families.'
So why on earth did she not mention it in her letter to Thomas, in her Dear Daddy letter? Why not in Netflix? Why say nothing for years, when she saw nothing came from it?
If you believed your father guilty of such crimes, where by, you will not let your children meet him, why did you not follow up with authorities to ensure he is not hurting other peoples children. Are we expected to believe her hot headed husband, who runs his mouth off all the time, who spoke of the 'abuse' his family inflicted on them, wouldn't say a word?? He and Meghan have only ever said Meghan 'lost' her father because of the media intrusion and staged photos! We are expected to believe that they knew he was capable of doing such evil things and neither breathed a word until now?
She has said that the Met Police and Royalty and Special Protection department knew of it!! What next, The Royal Family knew about it but did nothing??? Because that's the vibe I am getting that she is implying here. The ROYALS knew but did nothing.
Sorry this doesn't exactly paint her in a good light either.

This reform gets to the heart of the national security quandary outsourcing and offshoring have created. With so much of our data being managed by foreigners here and abroad, it is quite possible we may not be 'escalation capable" against any country that manages our data.
Tariffs on services that have been offshored is essentially feckless and does not protect against this vulnerability .
The federal government should establish stronger domestic-access requirements for sensitive government data and critical systems, with narrowly defined exceptions. Relevant financial and infrastructure regulators should consider comparable requirements within their authority, while Congress addresses areas requiring additional legislation. Protecting sensitive information would also reduce incentives to move certain technology functions overseas, reaching a part of the outsourcing business that visa restrictions cannot.
I think if companies look to offshore the govt should look at software supply chain risks associated with that activity.
VP / DOL are going after J-1 and H-1B conduits. I’m not holding my breath just yet… but perhaps we will see a change. Question is- will companies move to more offshore or will I actually see the hiring needle move in favor of hard working Americans? i don’t think we will see anything significant until mid next year from a workforce pov - but you know I’ll be watching.
From a national security perspective, the US govt should look to do an E2E risk review of Microsoft and their govt contracts
VP VANCE: "There has been no company in the United States, unfortunately, that has abused this system more than Microsoft."
Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers in 2025 after certifying that it could not find qualified American employees — yet the company was approved for more than 6,000 H-1Bs and filed 3,682 PERM applications, including nearly 1,000 applications for the same positions as the laid off American workers.

The monarch butterflies you're seeing right now aren't like the ones from earlier this summer.
The previous four generations lived about two weeks, mated, and died. This one is built different. It's born knowing it won't reproduce until spring. Every calorie it takes in goes straight to fat for a 3,000-mile journey to a mountain range in Mexico it hasn't ever seen, but knows is there.
It will live eight times longer than its parents, navigate by a sun compass in its antennae, switch to magnetic sensing on cloudy days, and somehow arrive at the correct tree.
The butterfly on your goldenrod right now is fueling up. Don't spray anything near it.

I don’t think people realize how absurd this is. Scottish runner Josh Kerr just broke the mile world record in 3:42.66, an average speed of 16.2 mph. Most people couldn’t even briefly reach that speed, let alone sustain it for an entire mile.

Your bird bath might be missing half its potential users at best, and at worst might be drowning them.
Pollinators and smaller songbirds enjoy a good drink on a hot day from a bird bath, but many can't safely drink from standard bird baths. The water is too deep, the edges are too slick, and they can't land safely.
Bees wind up drowning in them, butterflies avoid them, and smaller birds like chickadees and finches wait for a puddle instead.
The fix? A few large rocks. Even a single rock in the center of your bird bath breaks the surface of the water and turns your bird bath into a more usable piece of habitat.
With rocks in place, bees can land and drink safely. Butterflies can perch. Smaller birds have a safe resting spot.
It doesn't cost anything if you're good at looking for rocks, takes about 30 seconds to do, and it likely doubles who can use your bird bath.

Swiss farmers planted flowers between their crops and watched pest damage drop by over half. The UK is now running the same trial across 15 farms. The reason this works is embarrassingly simple.
A Swiss study on winter wheat found that fields with wildflower strips had 40 to 53% fewer leaf beetle pests than fields without. Crop damage dropped 61%.
The mechanism is simple. Wildflowers feed hoverflies, lacewings, parasitic wasps, ladybugs, and ground beetles. Those insects eat the aphids, beetle larvae, and caterpillars that farmers would otherwise spray for. A few meters of wildflowers hosts an unpaid pest control crew that would jump at the chance to whoop some aphid ass.
In apple orchards where no insecticides had been used for five years, plots with wildflower alleyways had 9.2% damaged fruit. Control plots without flowers had 32.5%.
The UK is now running a five-year trial across 15 farms placing 6-meter flower strips through the middle of fields, not just at the edges, because the beneficial insects can't reach the center of a large field otherwise.
This works the same way in a backyard vegetable garden as it does on a commercial farm. Plant native flowering species near your tomatoes, beans, and squash. The pests still show up, but the predators show up too.
