trying to get adaptation only fans to read comics is like galileo trying to get the catholic church to look through his telescope
you’d think “i make video essays about comic books” wouldn’t be a good first date line but, shockingly, it is
you kinda have to share campbells sense of humor for the book to work, and it’s best when she doesn’t overdo it. i also appreciate how personal to her it feels and that it’s actually funny, i wish more big 2 books were like that
I do mean disrespect if you are excited for doomsday I think you’re stupid

Clark Kent: (trying to change into Superman without anyone noticing) Oh no.... The Mexican food I had for lunch is starting to hit.... I gotta go STAT
Lois Lane: Wow Clark you're such a fucking chud you can't do anything right. Why can't you be more like Superman
Jimmy Olsen:
i’d agree with him but then why set up the jli and peacemaker in your superman movie? i would’ve loved to see the planet crew more or replace rick flag sr with sam lane
James Gunn doesn’t want a Justice League-centric DCU.
Responding to fans on Threads, Gunn defended his approach to DC Studios, arguing that individual stories should stand on their own rather than exist simply to set up the next big crossover.
He compared the DCU to Star Wars, where countless stories can unfold across different characters, locations, and time periods.
Gunn also confirmed that the Superman Saga will continue through Man of Tomorrow and beyond, bringing together characters introduced throughout the DCU.
I didn’t love Clayface, but I didn’t hate it either. And that’s okay. I appreciate Gunn’s willingness to experiment rather than play it safe. It’s the same reason I enjoyed Lanterns on its own terms.
I don’t need every DC project to connect to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, or the Justice League.
I want Gunn to go wild with his green lights.
Give me a DC Universe overflowing with creativity, even if a few projects miss the mark.
