Beginning in lockdown, Shared Harmonies have created 4 incredible compositions, written and performed by our community participants. Our incredible composer, Holly, co-creates these songs by taking inspiration from participants' ideas, images, photographs, artwork and lyrics.
In our 10 years, we are very lucky to have been recognised by and awarded 5 wonderful accolades.

We have 6 Sing and Breathe groups which is a weekly singing session for anyone affected by a long term lung condition from asthma to COPD. These sessions are supported by Asthma + Lung UK. These sessions are in, Huddersfield, Calderdale, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Leeds and Todmorden.
We can tell you about what we do but we'll hand over to some of our previous participants so they can tell you what they think...
1. 'Today, I've learned something new about people I have worked with for years.'
1/4
4. 'You could see at the end the group really trusting each other and expressing their voices as best they could.'
5. 'The session really made people sit up and think that individually they are good but together they can make an amazing team.'

We are fortunate to have 8 incredible facilitators. Our team are highly trained including classical training, community development and supporting participants with a range of health and wellbeing conditions including respiratory conditions, dementia, Parkinson's and long covid.
