#VAL 🔥 £2m Market Cap with recently raised £1.15m Forwarded Today's acquisition by Ambrose of AM-Pharma for up to €161m adds a third later-stage rare disease asset alongside VAL401 & Renzapride, while establishing its first European base. Ambrose's model is not built around long, capital-intensive development programmes but around acquiring de-risked assets, advancing them efficiently and creating value through accelerated orphan regulatory pathways with a focus on early monetisation. A 2025 ‘Meeting Mojo’ presentation stated Ambrose was targeting a 5-year (now less) joint exit at a £800m to £1bn valuation for both 401 and Renzapride. Val's equity stake means it benefits from value creation across the entire Ambrose business, not simply from one asset. Under the licensing deal, Valiseek received 576k Ambrose shares, with further milestone payments of up to £16m plus royalties tied to 401. As Ambrose expands its pipeline, secures funding, or ultimately achieves an exit event, that equity position can appreciate independently of 401's progress through exposure to all Ambrose assets. Ambrose founder Toby W Waterworth built Atlantic Healthcare into a £500m business and co-founded Expedeon, later sold to Abcam for €120m. Around him sits the "Ambrose Dream Team", bringing together senior talent from AZN, GSK and across the biotech sector. Ambrose operates with a consultant led structure, so most of the team are service providers rather than payroll employees, which is why the statutory headcount is low. It’s a standard, capital efficient structure. Ambrose is executing its strategy: expanding internationally and adding assets. It was recently named New Drug Development Treatment Specialists 2026 by Global Health & Pharma. Fundraising is in progress and Ambrose Healthcare (Europe) Ltd was incorporated in August as momentum builds. Supported by partners including SEHA (part of PureHealth, the UAE’s largest integrated healthcare network), a potential Middle East listing could further accelerate capital access. The 401 deal highlights Mark's commercial acumen. By securing equity exposure, Val can benefit from Ambrose's wider success.
