Excellent tips by M S Dhoni regarding how to maintain a healthy lifestyle MS Dhoni’s message goes beyond cricket! In an era of fast food, screens and sedentary lifestyles: ✅ Make physical activity a daily habit. ✅ Encourage children to play sports. ✅ Build healthy habits early. ✅ Teach children to accept failure and bounce back. ✅ Treat fitness as an investment in lifelong health. Sports build not just stronger bodies, but resilience, discipline and character. Let children play, not just study! (Video: Amit Gargasya)

as crazy as this may sound, I think social media fasting will be a real thing.

Is it fair to assume that hard work is now more important than ever before? /more-output - If two people are equally smart, the one putting extra 2 hours a day would earlier get 30% more done. With AI, this person can do 300% more done. /more-distractions - Never been easier to watch content all day. Never been harder to switch off distractions and actually do the work. both 1 & 2 seem to be on the rise, and both seem to favor the person working hard.

"We want to design for real people, not other designers."
While going through some really old legal files, we came across this old 37signals marketing flier (FAX!) from 2000. I remember making this in InDesign!

If you are a founder or hiring manager, what *human* skills are you willing to pay for but you struggle to find in candidates? It's a tough job market out there so maybe this can help someone pick up the right skill.

Incredible pitch. Not everyone has a filmmaker brother, but the point is to put in that extra effort in whatever we do. The bar for quality work will keep getting higher and higher, and that's good news.
Hi, it's Darshita. I am a designer. And I'm pitching myself in public 'cause I'm done with a year full of anxiety. Everyone says design is dead and AI killed it. But the real parasite was hiding in plain sight. So here's my film, DESIGN IS DEAD. She's bold, fearless and very PINK 💖 Hiring? My DMs are open.

90% of job applications I get are AI slop but once in a while I get to see creative answers like this one. (rickroll video link in binary) P.S: we don't have a full-time design opening but if someone is hiring, happy to make an intro.

What a cool interview! Even after facing violence, there is so much calm in his voice and yet so much courage. (something to learn) Also, nice of him to say he'll support BJP leaders too if they take a stand for this issue.

I love that Dhruv Rathee's popularity is growing even when the government is going after him. It's a sign that more people are willing to fight for freedom of speech instead of blindly supporting everything that their elected leaders do.
I was not arrested or detained, I was KIDNAPPED. Thank you for your support, here's the full story 👇

Sad state of affairs in Delhi. Inviting criticism makes us stronger. Shutting it down makes us weaker. We are all on the same team.

Screen time clearly seems to be the biggest drug of our generation. Everyone feels exhausted even if they've worked 1 hour a day and doomscrolled for 5 hours. (which can't be a good trend) If you're someone who has been able to bring it down, what worked for you?

Our lives are so much better because of US tech. Imagine living without WhatsApp, Instagram, X, Maps, iPhone, Google, YouTube. Why not allow Starlink too? If an Indian company can offer a better product, consumers will choose it anyway.

Binary MCP is now live for all our users! Recruiting tools (ATS) have a terrible reputation for their MCP support but we think it's high time to change that.

Excellently put.
Agents are tool users; that’s obvious. Give them a better web search tool, and they’ll do a much better job. What’s less obvious is that agents are abstraction users. Give them better abstractions, and they’ll build better systems. A few examples: — For an e-commerce site, I’d advise the agent to build on Shopify, and not reinvent e-commerce infrastructure in vanilla Rust — For a CRUD app, I’d still pick Django or Rails over starting from scratch in Go — For a high-performance API service? Go could be a great fit This has always been something we needed to think about, and having agents doesn’t make tools or abstractions any less important. A counterargument is: “I can just rebuild everything from scratch.” Yes, you can. You could also have outsourced all the coding before. AI systems aren’t magic fairies. They still have significant limitations and need the right guardrails, tools, and abstractions to do great work.

So few people using AI to solve for potholes, footpaths and air quality. So many people using AI to summarize the 5 emails I get in my inbox every day.

Went through ~70 applications and shortlisted a few. Sharing 1:1 feedback with everyone is tough, but will try to share a summary of common rejection reasons soon. 90% who applied are engineers (would have loved to see more designers and marketers too)
Planning to spend my long weekend helping GenZ who are working through the weekend. If you're proud of the work you are doing and looking for internships, fill this form by Saturday midnight - binary.so/y5sazPq. Will reply to everyone within 72 hours; will either offer an internship or intro you to other founders who are hiring.

Just to be clear: filling this form doesn't guarantee an internship or an intro. We'll still be reviewing each profile (as mentioned in the JD) and will respond/intro if we love your work.
