I texted with @zahra_hajee the day after she confronted Kevin Ortiz for assaulting her. She was completely distraught, in part because he used his political standing in the community to try to silence her. I'm so proud of her for coming forward.

This story is too relatable for those who've experienced sexual trauma in politics.
