This feels like the perfect opportunity to share something I’ve been wanting to put together for a while, because Trigun has inspired many works across different media, from manga and comics to video games, novels, and animation.

'CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS 2' staff explained how the sequel draws inspiration from '90s anime
The character designs and art direction intentionally differ from Season 1, aiming for a '90s anime aesthetic that conveys a stronger sense of struggle for the characters
Ikarashi also designed Talia Yang with a late '90s look after president Masahiko Otsuka told him to design her however he liked most. They settled on a "feline" design with a braided, cat-like tail for her hair
For the soundtrack, Ikarashi chose Tsuneo Imahori (composer for TRIGUN) to capture a "late afternoon '90s vibe."
