my mother tongue is hindi and i can speak decent kannada and understand a bit of telugu and tamil but malayalam 💀

As a Telugu person, It's amazing how you can read Kannada but understand nothing they speak. On the contrary, You can make out what is spoken in Tamil but cannot read anything written. Then there is Malayalam.
