For anyone looking to get help with job search. Reach out with a definitive ask, your chances of getting the help that you need will increase tenfold. It’s hard for people to create a plan of action for you, simply mentioning that you’re in the job market isn’t enough context.
One of the kids I mentored for design education shared that they are joining a design school in Mumbai and linked the school’s Instagram page instead of the website for me to look at.
I guess verified Instagram pages are now equivalent of official websites? My millennial brain stopped working for a second.
One thing that has changed the way I learn and improve my design skills is being open to constructive criticism and implementing the suggestions in my work. It has improved the quality of my work by miles!
It’s such an exciting time to be a designer. These kickass products that we use today were the dream back in the day. Can’t wait to see where AI will take us!
