Just sharing this now — because once you see #HowToGetFilthyRich on Channel 4, you’re going to want to sign it. It’s time to tax wealth, not work. Add your name and help make wealth taxes the first item on the new PM’s list. you.38degrees.org.uk/petitio… via @38degrees

For me, it comes down to this: when compounding crises threaten our water supply, do we want corporations and billionaires in control of it?

"Ofwat seeks £13m independent monitor for Thames Water turnaround." There we go boys and girls, £13 million of your money to be spent by Ofwat monitoring the "operational performance, financial resilience and [Thames Water's] progress with its turnaround programme". Time to put an end to this nonsense. watermagazine.co.uk/2026/09/…

Enough is enough. Devastating wildfires are threatening our communities, our wildlife, and our landscapes 🌳 We need the UK Gov to back our amazing fire fighters and invest in a real national wildfire prevention plan. sign the petition here: you.38degrees.org.uk/petitio… via @38degrees

"Thames Water 'flagship' chalk stream rated as poor." Usual old horse sh*t we've come to expect from the water industry. The River Pang, trumpeted as Thames Water's flagship chalk stream restoration project has been rated by the Environment Agency as being in "Poor" ecological condition. Why am I not surprised? bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0km…

"Watchdog accused of ‘giving away’ billions of litres of spring water to foreign bottling giants." Yep the EA are up to their old tricks again. The EA are charging Coca-Cola £6,070 a year to abstract water from the north of England which Coca-Cola then sells for £30 million. Did I mention that according to the EA by 2050 in England we will need to find another 5 billion litres of water per day just to keep our taps running and to try and save our chalk streams. What a hoax of a regulator. observer.co.uk/news/business…

NEW: A convicted money launderer has operated at the highest level of UK politics for a decade. Why? Because Farage has enjoyed almost total impunity from the UK press. In my new piece for @thenerve_news, I expose the decade of denial that’s enabled him to act with impunity 1/
