একসময় খ্যাতনামাদের নিয়ে একটি কমিটি ছিল, যারা কলকাতার দোকানে বাজারে গিয়ে দোকানের নাম বাংলায় লেখার অনুরোধ করত। খুব সম্ভবত সুনীল গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় ছিলেন ঐ কমিটিতে। জানিনা আজকে উনি বেঁচে থাকলে কি বলতেন। পুনশ্চ: নিচের লেখাটা পড়তে আমি ব্যর্থ। কেউ জানলে একটু কমেন্টে লিখে দেবেন।

এক ভদ্রলোক স্ত্রী পুত্র নিয়ে রিকশা চড়ে একটু পুজো দেখতে বেরিয়ে একটা ভিডিও করেছিলেন। সেটা হয়ে গেল ভাইরাল। তা ভাইরাল হবি হ, লোকজন সেই ভিডিওর ওপরে কিচ্ছু না জেনে যা ইচ্ছে তাই লিখে যাচ্ছে। এইজন্য ব্যক্তিগত জিনিস ঘনিষ্ঠ বৃত্ত ছাড়া কারুর সাথে শেয়ার না করাই ভাল।

বাঙালি স্বেচ্ছায় অঙ্গরাজ্য থেকে উপনিবেশে অবনমিত হয়েছে। তাছাড়া বাঙালি চিরকালই নিজেদের থেকে "ওদের" কথা বেশি ভেবে এসেছে (বহু ব্যক্তিগত অভিজ্ঞতা আছে)। তাই এইসব শুনতেই হবে, এবং ভাঙ্গা হিন্দিতে কথা বলে জাতে ওঠার আপ্রাণ চেষ্টা করতে হবে। দালালরা বোঝাবে সেটাই সঠিক।
