A certain influencer I lived with in the past was going to return her hamster back to the sanctuary she adopted it from because she irresponsibly adopted it. I offered to adopt her hamster because I felt awful that she wanted to return the hamster back after owning it for a year. Now she is telling people she is worried about her hamster because I am ignoring her messages about the hamster and not giving her updates. This is painting me in a negative light as someone who is irresponsible and neglectful. She revoked her right to any updates regarding the hamster she neglected majority of the time she owned it. I took care of her hamster several times as she irresponsibly went to live abroad in several countries and relied on me and our other roommates to care for the hamster. I do not owe her anything. She doesn’t deserve updates. She shouldn’t be talking negatively about me. When I adopted her hamster he had mites. It took me a whole MONTH to get rid of the mites. He is cared for responsibly and I post updates on my social media occasionally about the hamster. He is well taken care of and it’s disheartening to learn that she is telling several people she is concerned about a hamster that she neglected for majority of the year she owned it.

getting to wake up everyday happy and full of joy is something i didn’t know was possible but so grateful this is my reality now 🥹
