Zeker, zij roemen in hun zwakheden omdat Christus hen redt.

"I need ammunition. Not a ride."
"I don't sleep."

And by referring to Trump as similar 'humanistic', this doesn't feel like Witkoff intends to praise the best side of human nature.. While the future under their temporal rule will require the best of all other humans..
Witkoff called Putin a humanist as he thanked him for Stephen Hubbard’s release. Russian troops seized the elderly American in Izium, and former fellow prisoners reported that he had been beaten, tortured with electric shocks, burned and attacked by dogs. This is a punitive system created and endorsed by Putin, who is himself a product of that system. Let us recall some examples of the “humanism” displayed by Putin and the system he created. Wars. Chechnya, Georgia, Syria, Ukraine—a succession of military campaigns involving mass civilian casualties. In Novye Aldi in Chechnya, Russian forces executed at least 60 people. In Georgia, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) established Russia’s responsibility for killings, torture and the burning of homes. In Syria, human rights organisations documented unlawful strikes by Russian and Syrian forces on hospitals, schools and markets. His personal decision to invade Ukraine. On 24 February 2022, Putin himself announced the start of the full-scale war. As early as 2014, he publicly spoke of using civilians to shield Russian troops: standing “behind them, not in front, but behind” and challenging Ukrainian soldiers to “try shooting at women and children.” Killings of civilians and the destruction of shelters and hospitals. Bucha, with its extrajudicial executions; the Mariupol Drama Theatre, marked with the word “CHILDREN”; and the missile strike on Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital are specific instances of violence committed by the army Putin sent into Ukraine. They have been documented by the UN and international human rights organisations. The deportation of children. The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued an arrest warrant for Putin over his suspected personal responsibility for the unlawful deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children. The UN Commission of Inquiry classified these practices as crimes against humanity. Torture and the hunting of human beings. The UN Commission of Inquiry found that the Russian authorities’ systematic use of torture constituted a crime against humanity. It reached the same conclusion regarding systematic drone attacks on civilians in the Kherson region. Depriving millions of the basic necessities of life. Strikes on energy infrastructure left Ukrainians without electricity, heating and water, and threatened the operation of hospitals. In connection with this campaign, the ICC issued arrest warrants for Shoigu and Gerasimov, including for suspected attacks on civilian objects. MH17 and the concealment of responsibility. All 298 people aboard the passenger aircraft were killed when it was shot down. The ECtHR established Russia’s responsibility for the disaster and for violations of the rights of the victims’ relatives. Poisonings abroad. A British inquiry found that Putin had probably approved Litvinenko’s murder with polonium. Another inquiry concluded that he had authorised the assassination attempt on Skripal. Novichok left behind by the perpetrators killed a member of the public—Dawn Sturgess. The persecution of Navalny. After being poisoned with Novichok, the opposition politician was imprisoned; he died in a penal colony. In 2026, five European countries reported detecting epibatidine in samples taken from him and held the Russian state responsible for his poisoning. Impunity for those who ordered political killings. Nemtsov was shot dead near the Kremlin. Politkovskaya was murdered on Putin’s birthday after investigating crimes in Chechnya. Personal support for a state assassin. A German court established that Krasikov had killed Khangoshvili in Berlin on orders from Russian state agencies. Following a prisoner exchange, Putin personally met the convicted murderer at the airport and embraced him. “Kursk”: 118 dead and “It sank.” In the first days of the disaster, Putin remained on holiday while Moscow delayed accepting foreign assistance. All 118 sailors died. Later, when Larry King asked what had happened to the submarine, Putin replied: “It sank.” His initial response to a question about the deaths of an entire crew took just two words. “Nord-Ost” and Beslan: contempt for hostages’ lives. In the Nord-Ost case, the ECtHR found that the rescue operation following the use of gas had been inadequately organised. In Beslan, the authorities failed to take appropriate measures despite having information about the threat of an attack. During the operation, security forces used tank guns, grenade launchers and flamethrowers—the court found that this had contributed to the hostages’ deaths. Children as hostages to political revenge. In retaliation for the US Magnitsky Act, Putin signed a law banning US citizens from adopting Russian children. Even nearly completed adoptions were halted, including those involving children with serious illnesses. The ECtHR found the ban discriminatory and disproportionate. The Kremlin demonstrated its power to Washington at the expense of children who could have found families. The 1999 apartment bombings: questions the Kremlin cannot brush aside. Hundreds dead, another war in Chechnya and the rapid consolidation of Putin’s power. Litvinenko, Felshtinsky and Satter accused the FSB of organising the bombings. In Ryazan, the FSB later claimed that a device initially regarded as a bomb in an apartment building was part of a “training exercise with sugar.” Torture, coerced confessions and years of imprisonment—this is how Putin’s government punishes disobedience. Ukrainians, Crimean Tatars and Russian opposition figures have received prison sentences of 10, 20 and 25 years in politically motivated cases. By calling Putin a humanist, Witkoff grants moral absolution to a ruler who starts wars, presides over a state that practises systematic torture, and personally welcomes a convicted murderer.

This little big man can be so hopeful.🙏 And great game makers, these Nordics.
Today we discussed security guarantees, and I'm thankful to the American side for underlining again that they have to be strong. There are different kinds of security guarantees on paper – in the document – which Steve will share with the Russians. We will hear his feedback afterwards. I had a phone conversation with Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier on the train today. We spoke about sensitive issues such as Starlink, ballistic missile interceptors, and intelligence. We were very concrete and the conversation was positive. We shared the things we have to manage. And we will manage them, I'm sure of it. We decided that maybe in 48 hours we will get in touch again. We are thankful that early warning is now working. This is very important for our people, because we can know when Russian ballistic missiles are coming. So, this morning began with positive signals from the American side. We now also have a constructive dialogue. It was constructive because all of us want peace – Ukraine, Europe, the United States. And we will see what happens tomorrow. From answers to media questions in Oslo.

Wow, the US truly has the most incompetent president in history. Just listening to how clueless this man is, it’s no wonder we have been humiliated in Iran. Trump: “The Russians had a thousand tanks riding up a concrete highway. They would have been in Ukraine in four hours, going maximum tank speed, which is 48 miles an hour, to be exact. Nothing to stop them. The war would have been over in one day. And this very stupid general - I have no idea who he is. I doubt he’s still with us. I doubt he’s still living. He decided to hang a right onto the farmland and then take a left and go up to Kyiv, rather than staying on the highway - the concrete highway, perfectly good highway - where they were doing very nicely. It would have been three and a half, four hours, and the whole war would have ended. He ended up getting stuck in the mud.” Does he understand that Ukrainian troops destroyed all the bridges and cut off the retreat points, so the only option left was to go off the highway? I mean, if you have the IQ of a 10-year-old child, you should be able to get it. I am honestly shocked at the basic level of ignorance. And this is the man who is in charge of the US Army.

Hun terrorisme is zo zinloos. "Today is a devastating day in Irpin. 💔 So far, 17 injured out of which 8 are children, one person d#ed while 3 are counted as missing.. 💔"
A horrific Russian strike in the Kharkiv region. A “shahed” struck people directly – in a park near an ordinary café. Pure atrocity. Six people were killed, including children. A little girl was killed in a stroller – her name was Angelina, she was just over a year old, born in August 2025… Her mother’s name was Inna. She died in the hospital… Another girl who was killed was 11 years old. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Another 14 people were injured, including six more children. I am grateful to everyone who supports Ukraine under these circumstances and helps us shoot down “shaheds,” shoot down missiles, and stop Russian assaults. These are horrific photos, but behind them are shattered lives and the truth about this war. Lives must be protected. Ukraine needs air defense. You can't think about making money with Russia as long as it continues its asinine war. We ask that sanctions on Russia stay in place as long as the killings continue. We ask America to be strong, and we ask it to apply the Lindsey Graham law. We ask Europe to continue its support. We ask that everything possible be done to bring peace and guarantee security. Ukraine wants peace. It is Russia that has insisted on continuing the killing all this time. The world has enough strength to stop the war. That strength must finally be used – against the murderers.

Leve het Huis! Maar of die de POTUS kunnen temmen?
I will be speaking with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his team this week to discuss Starshield, sanctions, and other matters pertaining to the defense of our strong ally, Ukraine. I will be assuring President Zelenskyy that anyone who attempts to limit the use of Starshield for Ukraine will be fully investigated and will be held fully accountable, to include public congressional oversight hearings, and immediate harsh and punitive budget cuts to any responsible agency or agency head. Congress will unequivocally reaffirm that Ukraine is an indispensable ally to the United States, that Russia is a self-declared enemy of the United States, and that the United States will 100% support and defend the people of Ukraine in their fight for their own freedom against this brutal, illegal, and unprovoked Russian invasion. The United States must provide any and all defensive equipment that Ukraine needs to defend itself. The United States must not import a single drop of Russian oil. Sanctions against the Russian regime must be harsher and stronger than they’ve ever been before. Each and every one of these items will be brought to the House Floor—and each and every one of these items will pass on the House Floor by an overwhelming margin. This is, after all, what Ronald Reagan would do. And this is what we will do now. Ukraine can, and will, defeat Russia. #PeaceThroughStrength

E The Donald?

Treason. A once great nation lost for reason.. Welcome to the new age Post-Pax Americana
Latest: Zelenskyy tells reporters over WhatsApp that restrictions on Ukraine's Starlink systems remain. Interceptor drones can't function, logistics and operations hobbled. The maximum speed is 161 kph; "exceeding this limit causes the Starlink connection to cut out completely, resulting in the loss of the drone." He says Ukraine has done tests to determine whether SpaceX is truly facing technical issues, as has been told Kyiv by the US side, or if this is a "deliberate operation... to restrict us, cut us off, and prevent us from defending ourselves and protecting our people, both at the front and among the civilian population." He says Ukraine "sent a couple of vehicles equipped with Starlink terminals into European Union territory." "They moved at speeds exceeding 180kph, and the Starlink systems worked perfectly. We have the relevant logs and evidence to prove this." He adds: "The conclusion is clear: the restrictions are in effect within Ukraine but do not apply within the European Union. In other words, this is a planned operation."

Still some relief seems possible.. (From UA veteran very involved) US repentance is still welcome!
**BREAKING NEWS: TRUMP BLAMES VANCE AND MUSK FOR THE STARLINK CRISIS. UKRAINE MAY HAVE WEATHERED THE STORM. 🇺🇦🇺🇸** According to unverified reports of discussions inside the White House, Donald Trump has accused JD Vance and Elon Musk of giving him “stupid advice” that led to restrictions on Starlink services supporting Ukraine's military. Trump reportedly made it clear that he has no intention of ordering further restrictions. He allegedly warned that if Democrats establish a congressional investigation into who ordered the slowdown, Musk and Vance will have to answer for their actions. Trump himself reportedly intends to avoid taking responsibility. **SECOND: AMERICAN INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT FOR UKRAINE.** Following discussions with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Trump reportedly agreed not to suspend intelligence sharing with Ukraine. According to these accounts, any future restrictions would affect only intelligence used for Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russia. Ukraine's missile early-warning system would continue operating at its previous level. Ratcliffe reportedly warned Trump that NATO allies and millions of Americans would never forgive Washington for leaving Ukrainian civilians defenseless against Russian missile attacks. **THIRD: RUBIO'S NEGOTIATIONS WITH GERMANY.** Rubio reportedly assured German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul that the United States would continue fulfilling its commitments under the PURL initiative, which finances American weapons for Ukraine. He allegedly expressed support for a proposal involving Patriot interceptor missiles in exchange for a 100-day suspension of Ukrainian strikes against Russian oil refineries. However, Rubio reportedly rejected the possibility of restoring unrestricted Starlink access for Ukrainian operations over Russian territory in exchange for the same concession. Discussions about potential postwar American-Russian economic cooperation, including the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, reportedly remain preliminary, with no binding agreements reached. **MY ASSESSMENT: THE CRISIS BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE UNITED STATES MAY BE EASING.** Several factors could explain a potential change in Washington's approach. First, Trump's confrontational rhetoric toward Ukraine has created tensions with European allies and divisions within his own administration. Second, rising oil prices and expensive gasoline are putting additional economic pressure on American households. Third, the reported diesel agreement between Trump and Putin has yet to produce the promised results. According to these accounts, Russia has not delivered any diesel fuel to the United States, while American companies are postponing potential contracts until after the congressional elections. Fourth, Trump's advisers reportedly understand that repeatedly attacking Zelenskyy could further damage relations with European governments and complicate Washington's foreign policy. **THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS WHAT UKRAINE ACTUALLY RETAINS.** If these reports are accurate, Ukraine will continue receiving essential American intelligence, missile warnings, and weapons through PURL. Starlink restrictions will not be expanded, while European governments are preparing additional military, financial, and energy assistance. That would represent a significant stabilization of relations after a dangerous confrontation. But there is an important distinction between reported private conversations and confirmed government decisions. The claims about Trump's statements, proposed agreements, and internal intelligence assessments still require independent verification. Ukraine cannot build its security on political promises alone. It needs weapons, intelligence, functioning air defenses, reliable allies, and the ability to defend itself. Our task remains unchanged: support Ukraine, support its Armed Forces, and prepare for every possible development.

President of the USA Bill Clinton in 1994: "Thanks to the Ukrainian parliament, you are removing the threat of nuclear power and laying the groundwork for an era of peace with your neighbours. I salute the courage you have shown. America will stand with you to support your independence, your territorial integrity, and your reforms. We are bound together by dedication to peace."

Writing from Ukraine, where we're rebuilding people's destroyed houses with a grassroots ngo: If Musk would cancel Starlink, to benefit the orange bully's thirst for oil, I'll quit this great platform. And so should y'all loving freedom and life: power abuse would've killed this open global community.

Poe, gelukkig is 7 oktober weer voorbij.
