Last night I watched the first ep of #CrystalLake on @peacock with Linda Cardellini. It’s a prequel to the Friday The 13th movies with Linda as Jason’s mum and the events that lead up to his disappearance. Very bloody & very 80s-looking (ratio/titles) but not very gripping! 7/10

Last night I watched #Exposure #AYearInReform on @ITV (after seeing clips all week). The number of people who held disgusting views in just a 12 month period is mind boggling & the snippets don’t do the full documentary justice. The beginning of the end? Possibly. Hopefully! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #Time back on @BBCOne from Jimmy McGovern. In a young offenders prison for this 3-parter with David Tennant leading (Siobhan Finneran the DNA linking all 3 series). Unbearably tense from the off and so much heartache by 60 mins: must-see! 9/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheLastLeg back on @Channel4 for series 35 with Adam/Alex/Josh. A look at the week’s news with guests (Tim Minchin/Ellie Taylor) + searching for a new Burnham lookalike. Slicker with less talking over each other & minimal #Strictly chat! 7/10

Last night I watched the new (first?) special #HungryHornyScared on @skytv from Paddy Young. Already smashing Weekend Update for #SNLUK it’s my 1st time seeing his stand-up (want to see him live). Super funny with a delivery I’ve not seen before. And sexy. With added walrus! 8/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheSplitUp on @BBCOne with Ritu Arya (spin-off from #TheSplit). We’ve gone from London to Manchester but it’s still a family law firm as nuptials get derailed when the cheat’s employed. Wasn’t a fan of the original and nothing’s changed! 6/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #Youth on @hbomax from Sharon Horgan. Woman in her 50s, divorced + kid off to uni: check. Still feels horny & wants sex: check. Cue filthy cringe situations that are pure Horgan: check. Laugh out loud funny & another hit post Bad Sisters! 8/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #Pierre on @Channel4 with David Harewood. He’s a duty solicitor working the graveyard shift while getting his junk looked at in a late-night casino (before doubling his money). Feels different (if a little random) with good performances! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheParty on @ITV with Luke Evans. The ‘party’ is an actual one (bit cringe) & the conservative one looking for a new leader. Lots going on that ends up with someone covered in blood answering questions (no comment) plus uni flashbacks! 6/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheRealRooneys on @DisneyPlus with Coleen & Wayne. Got time for her after #Wagatha but far less for him when #MOTD calls. This is a year in the life after the jungle/leaving Plymouth. Full access (whole family) but all for the cameras! 6/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #MinervaAcademy on @NetflixUK (from 🇮🇹). It’s another Elite: students acting way older than they actually are but this time in a military training school. The stakes are over the top/camp with everyone trying to snag a mentor/dress sword! 6/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #Physical100Mexico on @NetflixUK weeks after the Italian season began. Athletes, Olympians, influencers & people who live in the gym all want to claim they’ve the perfect physique. Not as many hotties as in Italy but challenges are epic! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheTraitorsUS on @nbc with Alan Cumming (first time with just normies - a higher quality celeb version due in 2027). Shares missions with our current version & is nice not to have to watch ‘Real Housewives’. Far more theatrical/camp too! 8/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheGoldenTicket on @NetflixUK (first Dahl collab). Looks just like the factory with amazing elements (Oompas) but most games come down to voting people out. Even got permission for Gene Wilder’s voice. All for a lifetime supply of money! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #PalinInThePhilippines on @channel5_tv as Michael travels 2500 miles across the archipelago. After Iraq, Nigeria & Venezuela since 2022, the Python’s in Asia: first up a face-to-face with President Bongbong (fan of Michael’s fish slap)! 7/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #BreakClause on @Channel4 with Lara Ricote/Sam Bottomley. Two very likeable leads graduate Leeds Uni & move to London as a couple but don’t last long (cheat). Can they survive a lease they’re locked into (hint: it will be super awkward)? 6/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheReluctantVampire on @BBCOne with Lenny Rush. From a book by Eric Morecambe (wow) & created by the Partridge guys (double wow) plus a stellar cast, this edgy family treat even gets a “they said I looked like a count” gag in before 7pm! 8/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TemptingFortune on @Channel4 back with Rob Beckett for Paddy McGuinness. Can a bunch of normies survive a desert island wilderness without the need of a Greggs sausage roll & other treats? Giving in costs the prize fund. I’d be selfish! 6/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #HIGNFY back on @BBCOne for series 72 with Richard Ayoade. Just as funny as ever with Gyles Brandreth on top form (in a sweater too). Great way to get a what’s going on fix plus headlines from Wiggly Wigglers & captions for a bear photo! 8/10

Last night I watched the first ep of #TheCelebrityTraitors back on @BBCOne with Claudia Winkleman. So many highlights first time so how will this year fare? Already iconic thanks to Richard E Grant! The same show with already a twist in Traitor-picking: gonna be a wild ride! 9/10
