At 11am on the 11th of November, 1918, World War I came to an end. An estimated 16 to 20 million people lost their lives. Others survived, but were forever changed.
One of those survivors was my great-grandfather, Commander Charles Lamont Lind Young. Today seems a good day to share his story. Lest we forget.
