Mojang, the Minecraft studio Microsoft owns, posted 7 Minecraft jobs this month. Every one is in Stockholm. One says "The Minecraft team is expanding."
The same post says "we are currently only considering candidates based in Sweden."
Xbox is cutting 3,200 jobs through FY27. Microsoft offered buyouts to another 60,000.
Meanwhile, yesterday Satya Nadella told investors Minecraft had a record quarter, reaching all-time highs in both engagement and revenue.
