Congrats to Coach Brennan and the SJSU football team for a perfect reg season and winning the ‘ship. The X/O’s are great, but he also partnered with us to discuss crucial social justice issues with his young men.Great conversations, Great partnership. @CoachBrennan @SanJoseStateFB
Almost 29 yrs, it’s a wrap.Steve Jobs said,“If you want to be liked by everyone, don’t be a leader. Sell ice cream.”Thank you @sliccardo and City manager’s Duenas and Sykes for believing in me.Thank you San Jose!To my men and women, it was honor fighting for you. Stay the course.
So..one thing is for certain..NOTHING good comes from being on parole + one POUND of methamphetamine for sales, + a loaded firearm. NOTHING GOOD! Fantastic PROACTIVE work. NEEDED work for our residents. Thank you my brothers and sisters.
Thank you DA Rosen. These are the types of actions and decisions that help keep our residents and the officers that serve them safe, as they continue to be proactive, sacrificing their well being for our communities. @SantaClaraDA

Last night a car stop was made, a struggle ensued with the driver, who gripped the officers holstered gun and fired a round. In the car was a loaded .40 cal and 46 grams of cocaine packaged for sale. My brothers and sisters, you are desperately needed. God bless the peacekeepers.
Fantastic work by our men and women. As I’ve said many times, it’s been great having a front row seat to witness this police work.
"The expectation for law enforcement to enforce a curfew is unreasonable. I'm somewhat confused as felons are being released from custody, exactly how we would enforce such an order."

Proud to see a packed room of diverse men and women on their official first day of the SJPD academy, who under extraordinary circumstances, have answered the call and have begun their journey.
We are asked to do too much when dealing with individuals going through mental crisis. This pilot program is going to be better than what our system is currently providing. Not the goal line, but a positive step. Thankful for @HealthySCC . mercurynews.com/2020/10/15/s… via @mercnews
As a lifelong baseball fan, the passing of Bob Gibson stings. An absolute beast. Decades after his last pitch... A lot of amazing pitchers in history....but the great ones had you before you stepped in the box. He was one of them.
This dangerous and honorable work is amazing. In 2019 ofcrs proactively took approx 386 illegally possessed guns off our streets. So far in 2020 with all the issues facing us, 521 illegally possessed guns off our streets=521 families NOT impacted by violence. Work MUST continue!
Many challenges facing our beloved calling. But as I read our daily logs, our men and women continue to sacrifice every day in order for their neighborhoods to live free from fear. We will never stop sacrificing. We will rise, WITH our communities. #THANKAPOLICEOFFICERDAY!
