Mehn, Fr, I never expected there would be a time when I would come here on social media to talk about my real-life situation. But it seems like nothing is working for me anymore. I’ve sent nothing less than 5,000 cold messages to both clients and companies, trying so hard to offer my services and get something going. Some rejected me, some replied and sent me assessment links to complete, which I did, while others never even bothered to respond. The worst part is that I’m a medical student. I barely have time to learn or pursue other hands-on skills because my time is already limited, especially during the day. I have to focus on school. But at the same time, I have a lot of bills to pay. I take care of 100% of my bills myself, and honestly, it was through this industry that I was able to do that. But everything is getting really hard for me now. I’ve tried so hard to hide what I’m going through, but it’s getting worse day by day. And the worst part? I don’t even have anyone I can genuinely talk to about my situation. My mum is already busy trying her best to support my younger brother and sister, while I have to figure things out and take care of myself. Mehn, everything just feels hard as fuck right now. Even the state I live in contributes to the struggle because there are limited to almost no opportunities here. But what can I do? I guess I’ll just leave everything in God’s hands. Whatever happens, I’ll accept it and keep moving. Nobody send me to this world, so I have to face my problem and situation alone.
