If the same criteria are applied in 2029, Cristiano Ronaldo would be the clear-cut winner, given his dominance in the UEFA Champions League. 😳🐐
Arsenal needs to be given a little more credit, PSG has scored a total of 30 goals in their last games against Bayern, City, Barca, totteham and Chelsea.
Arsenal managed to take them to extra time while loosing by just a penalty, Mikel Arteta's side should be given more credit

🚨 Arsenal held talks with Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto Martínez as part of the process that ultimately led to the appointment of Mikel Arteta in late 2019, according to extracts from Sam Dean’s new book.
Arteta was not among the top candidates when the search began following Unai Emery’s sacking. His lack of head-coaching experience meant he was viewed separately from the more established names. At the time, he had only worked as an assistant to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and had never managed a team in his own right.
Technical director Edu Gaspar led the search and interviewed several coaches with proven track records. Arteta’s name only gained serious traction after internal figures who knew him from his playing days at the club urged Edu to speak to him. A lengthy phone call and a subsequent meeting at Arteta’s home then shifted the dynamics of the process.
