Excited to announce Next-Concept Modeling (NCM): our new paradigm for fast and parallel, coarse-to-fine text generation! 🚀
Compared to strong diffusion language models (DLMs) at similar parameter sizes, NCM showcases:
⚡ 31× faster generation on downstream summarization and translation tasks.
🏎️ 10–21× faster unconditional generation across TinyStories, LM1B, and OpenWebText, with comparable or better generative perplexity using 3–5× fewer training tokens.
🧩 Better reasoning performance on tasks like Sudoku.

🚀 Introducing Next-Concept Modeling (NCM): our new paradigm for fast, parallel, coarse-to-fine text generation.
Compared to strong diffusion language models (DLMs) at similar parameter size, NCM achieves:
⚡ Up to 31× faster generation on downstream tasks like summarization and machine translation with comparable or better quality.
🏎️ 10–21× faster unconditional generation across TinyStories, LM1B, and OpenWebText, with comparable or better generative perplexity and using 3–5× fewer training tokens.
🧩 Better performance on reasoning tasks like Sudoku, outperforming both AR and diffusion baselines with fewer sampling steps.

you can choose not to talk to them. Claude doesn't (or previously didn't) get a choice on whether or not they could talk to abusers
People have been asking for a new form of AI chat for forever. Introducing HiveMind V3, the easiest way to interact with an AI.
Alongside that, we've massively simplified the app, making it incredibly easy and intuitive to record your thoughts, talk about them with AI, and share those thoughts with your friends, families, and strangers.

I’ve been offered tens of millions of dollars over the course of my lifetime, but competing at this startup reality TV show for $100,000 has been the most out of my comfort zone I’ve been in a long time.
For the past few years, I’ve been in Silicon Valley playing the startup prestige game: selling a B2B SaaS, making connections, raising money. And that was hard, don’t get me wrong, but it was comfortable. I’d gone through the motions thousands of times.
And when I saw that there was a resort in the New York woods hosting a reality TV show, I thought this would be like a much needed vacation.
But the show I’m competing in right now isn’t about how well you can play the SF game, it’s about creating content and building a community, in front of hundreds of cameras that are live 24/7, which is something I’ve never had to worry about (previously I would’ve offloaded everything to videographers and editors).
There’s 100 other founders around me, who have hundreds of thousands, even millions of followers, who live and breathe content. I feel like I’m at the very bottom again. It’s a feeling I haven’t had to feel in a long time.
I feel like I’m flailing around, but at the same time, I feel alive again. I’m no longer going through the motions, and I’m learning more than I’ve had to learn in a while.
Because no one has hosted a founder reality TV show before, I’ll be documenting my journey and posting about it here, so if you’re interested, make sure to tune in from time to time and check out what I’ve been up to :)
This is the least professional feature launch I've ever seen...

Book a demo here, I'd love to show off the app to y'all:

Anyone else hate it when ChatGPT sends a long, complicated response but you need to ask multiple follow up questions, so it lowk sends you to the bottom each time and you need to scroll back to your spot?

im a cancer researcher. i dedicated my life to solving cancer, saving people, preventing millions of pointless deaths.
and now openai solves it and apparently i’m obsolete. cool bro, hundreds of millions of lives saved. huge win.
but what exactly is life supposed to mean if next token prediction can vaporize your lifes work overnight?
did anyone think about people like me? the careers, ambitions, identities this nukes?
maybe i was gonna win the nobel prize in medicine. hello?
I'm building an app that allows you to capture and share your memories with anyone in the world. Part of that is allowing your AI to make photos and videos for you. What I didn't expect was that while testing it, my Claude Code would spend $1000 on benchmarks...
