It’s an irony most of redesigns out there use liquid glass aesthetics
Celebrating small wins is hardwired into "Achieve," our goal-tracking sample app. We wanted the simple act of checking off a task to feel like a celebration. Instead of the standard #Material ripple, we used Styles to drop in a custom, high-contrast completion animation—specifically, a brand-colored ring that expands and fades on tap, paired with a subtle pressed-state gradient. It lets us focus entirely on polishing those custom, rewarding micro-interactions while Material handles the foundation. #GoogleDesign #MaterialDesign #JetpackCompose #AndroidDev #UXDesign #InteractionDesign

Did we cook?
Modeinspect Early Access Alpha is live. Most AI design tools start with a blank canvas. We built Modeinspect for the product you already have. Real UI. Real codebase. Real components. Real design system. Design visually on the actual product, share a live prototype, and turn the best changes into PRs for engineering review. Designers make the change visually. Engineering gets a PR, not another mockup to decode. If you’re working on real product UI and want to try the alpha, come build with us. go.modeinspect.com/hello-wor…

My Clawdbot lives in a Mac mini inside a G4 iMac. I asked it to create an animated face for itself and it just did it. Even added a sleeping animation I didn’t ask for initially. Incredible @steipete

We have raised $3.4M to solve one of the most critical problems in product development by eliminating the silos between design and code. @modeinspect is defining a new era of product design, where designers and developers can co-build products together without the friction of the traditional design–dev handoff. The round was led by @PartechPartners with strong participation from @CredoVentures and outstanding angel investors including Angel Invest , @michalvasko, @judegomila, @JozefKepesi , @fbjork , @mlejva, @Jakubantalik and others.

Want Figma → code to actually work? Start with Auto Layout. The web isn’t static. Fixed positions break in code. 🛠 Use Hug/Fill, not fixed widths 🛠 Wrap everything in Auto Layout If your design breaks on resize, so will the web.

Exciting times to be building products!

To do that, remove everything unnecessary—nothing more, nothing less.
A good product, like a good explanation, is “hard to vary” and has reach beyond its original intent. Changing any part of the product makes it worse. It’s built to the edge of its constraints. Users use it to solve problems that it wasn’t intended to solve.

I had so much fun designing this with glass. Unfortunately this concept hasn't made it to production.
