“No altar, no belief, no holy book... have ever been able to reconcile the rich and the poor, the exploiter and the exploited. And if Jesus himself had to take the whip to chase them from his temple, it is indeed because that is the only language they hear.” - Thomas Sankara

Fun fact: 45% of the “bones” in this dinosaur were 3D printed. Dinosaurs didn’t exist.
Sotheby’s just sold Jodi, a Nanotyrannus (a smallish friend of T-Rex) for: *$47,000,000* High estimate was $9M. 2nd most expensive dinosaur EVER. I really think it’s because A) low estimate was very inviting B) it’s the perfect size at ~20ft This is going in a home, imo

You work 40 hours a week because the government, capitalists, banks, and landlords force you to. Only under a Communist system can we speak about working less.

Ryan Grim is a piece of shit. I havent forgotten how he kneecapped Force The Vote back when he was the head of The Intercept, and ran away from Jimmy Dore. I also haven't forgotten when he pushed atrocity porn slop justifying the Iran War 10 months ago, while at Breaking Points. He's a liar and an establishment tool, and he's proven it himself time and time again over the last 6 years. Completely unsurprising he drops this smear job to link Ansarallah to Israel via UAE, helping Saudi propagandists. This article will age like milk, just wait until after midterms and the Iran War restarting. All this "collaboration" and "assistance" talk will fall flat the moment missiles are blowing up ZOG strategic assets across the UAE.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: The UAE, a close US and Israeli ally, is quietly helping Ansarallah (Houthis) fight Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces, four sources have told Drop Site. This comes after Riyadh forced the UAE out of Yemen last December following clashes between their rival Yemeni allies in the south. Key findings: ➤ UAE-aligned Yemeni forces have given Ansarallah targeting help while Abu Dhabi looked the other way. Two sources said the UAE has also shared intelligence directly. ➤ The assistance is limited to targets inside Yemen, not Saudi Arabia, according to some sources. One source said a senior US official warned the UAE to stop, but sources indicated the assistance was ongoing. ➤ Commanders in the Giants Brigades, a predominantly Salafi militia from the south, have repeatedly abandoned positions without a fight, while UAE-backed southern separatist commanders have refrained from fighting Ansarallah on key fronts, a Yemeni source said. Senior Ansarallah official Mohammed al-Bukhaiti denied the assistance, citing UAE “neutrality,” but said Riyadh could avoid “the possibility of a future Yemeni-Emirati alliance against it” by ending the war and lifting the blockade. The STC separatists denied contact with Ansarallah or unwillingness to fight it in the south. The UAE ambassador to Washington did not respond to requests for comment. 🔗 Read the full report from Ryan Grim and Iona Craig below. ⬇️

I'm just glad I don't live in a dictatorship but a free democracy where every few years I can vote for a different banker or lawyer or landlord that represents the vast network of powerful corporate interests that controls every aspect of my life from cradle to grave

Idiots and frauds all around including Sowell and Friedman, who along with their boomer audiences completely glossed over America's total deindustrialization and financialization and drift away from real economy- which was the entire point. Obfuscation of this fundamental fact and dragging this stupid pro&con welfare state dogma into the fully floating fiat age guaranteed that people had no clue that the economy became fake based on Imperial rents and endless suppression of production.

The Kulaks were PEASANT family farm owners - a few were big enough to employ workers, but most family. Your hero Stalin abolished land ownership so decided to kill hundreds of thousands of them & their relatives. Even Russia after communism failed tried to compensate them.

@SocialistMMA is a lion. When he interviewed Ro Khanna, this was the first question he asked:
Majority Report hosts REFUSE to debate Nick Cruse of Revolutionary Blackout Network on his Marxist critiques of DSA A show producer plays gatekeeper, smugly dismissing Cruse for not being as famous as Neera Tanden while also claiming that Cruse is not a real political organizer “I’m not just interested in [debating] ideas” they claim and tell Cruse to “start doing something more than media”

The lumpenization of the human subject is a consequence of mass illiteracy. The written word is the only stable referent to organize around— to organize around images is to organize around sentiments— & sentimental engineering is now a science of the state. The only reason the Bolsheviks & even Mao could exist is the dawn of mass literacy in their respective societies. There is a direct line in Mao’s case from Yan Yangchu & the YMCA’s “mass education movement” & the establishment of Communism. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Y._C._…

Fascism only emerges in a POST-literate society. Fascism is the *devolution* of a literate society into illiteracy, orality, etc. Hitler’s Germans burned books & embraced the radio— Lenin rather considered radio “a paperless newspaper,” he did not think of it as a distinct medium with its own peculiar effects, but the fascists did!

Hey guys I'm gonna go ahead and say that while I don't know the intricacies of the case the idea that the most powerful well connected people on earth all got collectively duped is almost certainly not true and it's much more likely they benefited in some clandestine way-
I do think we need to give Elizabeth Holmes at least a little bit of credit for scamming Henry Kissinger
