Expired license plates. Air freshener hanging from the mirror. A counterfeit $20 bill. I am so tired of the excuses they come up with to murder Black people in America. #DaunteWright should be alive right now.

Understand that police violence is a #reproductivejustice issue. It is a #birthjustice issue. It is a #humanrights issue. Mothering a Black child under the constant threat of state sanctioned violence means that when I see #DaunteWright I see my child. Why don’t you? #BMHW21

I know this isn’t the most important take atm, but a gentle reminder to all educators (US) that we have a duty to bring the real world into our classrooms, esp when it’s causing immediate trauma. Pls address the murder of #DaunteWright w your students. #praxis #BlackLivesMatter

‼️These are some of the organizers in Brooklyn Center. Please support them. While there maybe several national org's/people involved, it's always important for movement building to support local organizers‼️ #DaunteWright

Last night, we lost yet another young Black man due to police violence. Daunte Wright should be alive. Our communities are reeling from the endless trauma we are constantly facing. We ask our Muslim brothers and sisters to stand in solidarity with #BlackLivesMatter #DaunteWright

If you are not ready to move aside and elevate Black and brown trans and queer leadership, don't invoke the names of Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera this #PrideMonth.
