The creation, maintenance, and constant testing to the point where you consistently trusted the results would likely be a full time job. That coupled with the cost of the gear would need to be less than the vendor tool. Idk if it maths

A strong password properly hashed with bcrypt can take longer than a company’s lifetime to crack offline. Forcing periodic password changes without evidence of compromise is security theatre.

This is a misleading comparison. DC is essentially 100% urban, yet it’s being compared with entire states full of suburban and rural hospitals. Compare DC’s ER times with NYC, Chicago, LA, or Boston instead of statewide averages.

Securing your family in a reliable, safe car is an investment. First class allows you to reach a destination in a state of relaxed readiness and not exhaustion. Fine dining is where critical conversations take place. Going into debt for these things is irresponsible.
