There are a total of 14 bespoke modifications to the off-the-shelf @JamcoAmerica Venture, making this a unique product for #KLM. Roll-out across all 31 777-200 and -300s is due within 12 months(!) subject to supply chain.
KLM design team listened to feedback from frequent flyers who said they wanted more customisation of their seating experience. This has resulted in a rather exciting panel of options which i'll be sure to sample on this 11hr flight down to Cape Town.
The biggest difference vs the 787 is addition of a sliding 'door'. As you can see it's super lightweight and remarkably thin compared to rival products. It doesn't reach the floor but still offers a decent degree of privacy. #klm
