But as they continue to serve, we must also ask Who is investing in their growth and development? Today, I am pleased to introduce my vision for the Turks and Caicos Islands Civil Service Association, built on four pillars: C – Career A – Advocacy R – Recognition E – Employee Wellbeing 🎯 Today, we begin with C – CAREER! I believe every civil servant deserves opportunities to learn, grow, strengthen their skills and prepare for the next step in their professional journey. Through initiatives focused on career preparation, leadership development, mentorship and networking, my vision is to help create an Association that actively supports the professional growth of its members. Because when our civil servants grow, our public service grows, and our country becomes stronger. Honoured and grateful for the opportunity to deliver the keynote address at the Kiwanis Club of Providenciales Installation Banquet, reflecting on the importance of purposeful leadership, service, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. 🇹🇨 Drawing inspiration from the story of David and Goliath, I reminded those gathered that greatness is not developed overnight. It is built through faith, courage, preparation, and perseverance, often long before the world recognises our potential. True leadership is not about titles or recognition, but about the lives we touch, the people we empower, and the difference we leave behind.
