Today we announce 1Password for Agents platform, building with companies @Muse, SpaceX Super Intelligence Grok @Bot, @AnthropicAI’s @Claudeai, @OpenAI, @TownAI, @Browserbase, @Browser_use, @heydana_ai, Instinct, @usekernel, @Perplexity_ai, @tryramp, @Tomo, and @wajo_ai, with more integrations on the way. 🎉 We've heard from so many of our customers who want to use these new personal AI agents to help them get more done, but want more control over what the agent can access with the same trust and ease of use they get when using 1Password directly. 1Password for Agents gives your agents access without giving up your passwords. When an agent reaches a sign-in form, it requests a credential from your vault. If you approve the request, 1Password directly auto-fills the credential in the destination site so the agent can’t see or take possession of the credentials. The agent gets the task done, but it doesn’t get your passwords.. You stay in control. 1Password for Agents free and optional for personal and family accounts. Unless you opt-in to an agent connector, agents cannot touch your vault. ➡️Learn more: bit.ly/487da6J

Microsoft-Decision-1 is live on OpenRouter. Microsoft's numbers: highest accuracy across 36 blind benchmarks (~150K questions), 4.5x faster than the runner-up, 35x faster than GPT-6 Sol, and decisions flip on just 1.3% of perturbed inputs. Post-trained from Qwen3.5-9B. $0.042/M input, output free, 32K context openrouter.ai/microsoft/micr…
Introducing Microsoft-Decision-1, our new model for fast decision-making. It delivers top performance on structured decision tasks, outperforming both LLMs and other decision models in latency and quality. We’re already testing it across Microsoft for everything from incident response and quality control to scientific discovery.

Introducing Claude Haiku 5.5: the cheapest, fastest, and most capable small model we’ve ever released. On average, it costs around 75% less to run than Claude Haiku 4.5.

I've been talking to a YC founder who's 15 years in and still doing big new things. One of the biggest popular misconceptions about startups is that founders have a brilliant idea, then implement it. In fact more often than not the biggest idea comes later.

That’s really the key point. When someone who’s already highly capable and efficient starts using AI, there’s very little room left for external contributors to add value.

Don’t get me wrong: this isn’t a dig at AI. The quality of open-source contributions had been declining long before AI. AI just accelerated it, while also making PR spam dramatically worse. I use AI extensively myself. It simply makes no sense for me to spend time reviewing and going back and forth on a low-quality PR when I can generate, verify, and ship the fix myself 10× faster. This is ultimately about optimizing my time.

I trained a small model to do syntax highlighting in the browser with GPU. Meet gpu-lexer from Vercel Labs: Small (27.5KB), fast (runs on WebGPU), and language-agnostic (model guesses the syntax). gpu-lexer.vercel.app It is experimental and built for learning!

My dear UI developers, ML practitioners, and fans of programming language: Many months & billions of tokens later, I’m proud to present to you the first step in our long, long collective journey to turn vibe coding onto proof engineering, starting with: making user interfaces verifiable. Introducing: Freerange, a zero-API tool that automatically deduces your code’s numerical ranges. By doing so, Freerange is able to prove that e.g.: - your TS layouts obey your specified sizing - that they’re free of NaNs and Infinity - that your array indices stay within bounds All of that, done statically. No browser, no running code, droppable into any codebase, and for the ML folks: RL-friendly
