It’s that time of the year again, BLACKBERRIES. For us, it is a wonderful time to take groups of children out to master the skill of picking and have a tasty bite as we go 😋
Take a peek at this blog post which will show you a few different ways to use Blackberries to make some colour popping artwork (and hopefully a mess too)

We were asked to make a fence for a bug hotel and bird feeder space @snapweston. Inspired by seeing newly laid hedgerows and using bamboo cut from the garden we made the rustic border. What do you think @Muddyfaces?
It was a pancake kind of day today. We watched, we ate, we fired! #ShroveTuesday
✍️ A new blog is up. A write up about one of the most beautiful spectacles of nature I have ever seen, a Starling murmuration - the inspiration behind how to make our own bird feeders and feed with children. #starling #blog #starlingmurmuration snapdragonsnursery.com/fores…
Last week we hosted a Forest School training day. We welcomed staff from across the nurseries who are completing their level 3 training to share ideas, create personal development goals for the year and have a messy stomp around. Same again in September? #forestschoolteam
BEFORE and AFTER pictures. The marks are just wonderful. The mixture of mud paints both on the paper and pots is just wonderful. Babies used everything, they mixed, they flicked, they stamped. 🎨 #explorers #messyhands
Here is our finished bird nest station @snapgrosvenor. The collection of sticks, bast, leaves and vines can be taken by any birds to build their homes. Next step will be to add some feeders as well then we will get birding! #BigGardenBirdWatch2023
Time to fill our bird’s nest @snapgrosvenor. A yomp across the meadows picking up sticks, leaves, feathers and wool that we can offer to the birds so they can build the best nests. #snapforest #BigGardenBirdWatch2023
