I've always felt the bottom of the ninth Easter Sunday 1987 was the greatest half inning in Brewers history. No more. It is now the top of the fifth in World Series Game 3, 2026

A grown man dressed as Bernie the Brewer fighting back tears in enemy territory. I love this stupid, beautiful game.

It’s crazy how the addition of the pitch clock and then incorporating the ABS challenge system made @mlb a better product than the @nfl in a few short years.

Why do people keep saying Miz wasn't at his best in Game 1? He threw 78 pitches in five innings. He hardly labored. He pitched.

That's why he wears the "C".
Yelich going full tilt into second made this inning.

When the intangibles become tangible.
Earlier today, Pat Murphy had this to say about Sal Frelick: "I can't tell you why Sal is just a little bit better than anybody would rate him as. I can describe it, but you can't measure it." Sal Frelick just tied this game with a homer to center off left-hander Ian Seymour.

I could not care less about the Packers these days but I don't see how you can possibly keep this kicker going forward.

His appearance in the last regular-season game against the Cardinals hardly exuded confidence. No command and no stuff and horrid body language on top of it. He sunk himself that day.
And a massive gut punch to Chad Patrick. He was really happy with how his stuff was coming despite the lack of game reps and staying sharp in live sessions.

Friends, today I visited the grave of Archibald “Moonlight” Graham—who, if you’re a fan of the movie “Field of Dreams,” you will know about—in Rochester, Minnesota. As I stood there in front of his grave, which is covered in baseballs placed there by fans, I remembered why that film is one of the best evocations in recent cinema of a higher world beyond the one that we can see.

Having 4pm NFL games ending in the dark now (East Coast viewers) and then hearing the ticking of the "60 Minutes" stopwatch makes me feel that I have Algebra and American History homework to do tonight, even though I'm in my 50s now.

You know who is the happiest person in Wisconsin today? This guy...at least if he remembers last night's game... #WinOurWay

Winners tell jokes. Losers say deal.
Brewers are playing Shohei Ohtani’s walk-up song, “Feeling Good” by Michael Bublé, in their winning clubhouse. They absolutely lost it and popped more bottles when the song started blasting.
