Very proud of Jack and his mates for doing this for a cause very close to us as a family. If you can help him reach his target he would appreciate it very much (and so would I).
Thanks – at Ponthir, Wales

Hearing that Ronaldo has announced he will never play for Portugal again has prompted me to announce I'll never play for @PonthirCricket 1sts again. This has been a difficult decision. Many thanks for your understanding.
Bit of a moment. Long story (60 plus years in fact), but it's not everyday you find out you have a brother you didn't know about. Finally got to meet him and his wife, which is great. Oh, and his name is....... Sean

Last night we collected the Division 3 winners trophy, and also celebrated the 3rds promotion from Division 13, at the @SEWCLeague presentation.

Our juniors had their presentation night on Wednesday. Such a strong and growing part of the club, who have played a massive part this season. Many thanks to the coaches, managers, parents and anyone who has helped make it happen.

Only the 2nds managed to play, losing in a reduced overs match against @GreatWesternCC .
However, the 3rds confirmed promotion from division 13, and join the 1sts in jumping up a division. Mid table for the 2nds & 4ths, which represents a fantastic season for our Saturday sides

Sadly we have reached the last Saturday of the league season. A fantastic year for the club, with the 3rds knowing a win against @wh_cc at Caerleon will seal promotion from division 13.

As well as the success of the 1sts, our 2nds beat @UskCC1857 , and the 3rds won at @mountainashcc to keep their promotion hopes on track. The 4ths lost in a close encounter to @MalpasCricket 3rds at Caerleon.
Couldn't be prouder of this group of players, and the whole 1st team squad, who have represented Ponthir CC so well this season

Our sides that represent the club this Saturday, with the 1sts travelling to @CreigiauCC for a top of the table clash, 2nds away at @UskCC1857 . 3rds make the trip to @mountainashcc in a promotion battle. The 4ths host @MalpasCricket 3rds at Caerleon

A few issues with the account, but we're back. 2 weeks of results has seen the 1sts clinch promotion for the 3rd consecutive year. A fantastic result that is reward for alot of hard work. The 3rds have a chance of promotion too, with 2 weeks to go. Both the 2nds and 4ths safe
Great start, and a style suited to what the County should always play. At last it seems we have a set up geared to make the most of what we have . Love it
After watching @NewportCounty play @OfficialASRoma last week, I thought I'd take a bit of County to the San Siro. It's the least I could do.
@acmilan @intermilan
I can log in to the Ponthir twitter account, so here are the 4 sides that take to the field on Saturday. (I'm on holiday, woohoo)

Tonight is a proud night for the city of Newport.
It’s an honour that Italian giants AS Roma are in town and it’s an occasion that puts Newport County AFC on the map. Regardless of the result, let’s get the terrace bouncing and enjoy every second.

3 out of 4 wins for our sides. The 1sts cemented their position at the top of division , beating @CcBrec , with the 2nds beating their 2nds. The 3rds list at @AbergavennyCC 4ths, while the 4ths beat @lisvanecc 5ths
