I'm having good success using @solcastAPI solar forecasting rather than traditional 'weather' forecasts. energy-stats.uk/solcast-fore… The level I charge the battery overnight depends on tomorrows solar forecast.

Just signed up for @solcastAPI and it predicted that I should be producing 2.4KWH at the moment, just checked the system 2.39KWH. Awesome job, looking forward to seeing if this continues over the next few days. Well done and thank you from the UK.

I have been tracking @solcastAPI forecasting against my actual PV generation since the end of April. As you can see from the graph it has been very accurate. I'm now hoping to use this as logic around overnight battery charging. Anyone else had a play with this? @energystatsuk
