Happy anniversary, #TechnoSat! It's been 3 years now, that #TUB's largest satellite in a decade launched into orbit. Since then almost 100.000 images have been taken and transmitted to Earth, with a good portion of all it's land masses already covered.

More than one year after completing its tech-demo mission successfully, #TechnoSat is still used as in-orbit test platform for follow-up missions. For the first time, the whole distributed software system is updated at once.

After over 3000 telecommands transmitting a total 1.5 MB of data via UHF over the course of 3 weeks #TechnoSat is finally ready for the biggest software update yet. For the first time ALL 7 nodes including redundancies of EPS and COM are updated at once!
