seeking work as a principal AI / research engineer for regenerative finance and collective intelligence
What "innovation" has there been in social systems at all over the last century?
What even is a commune or socialism?
They're not even a meaningful set of technology for coordinating.
They're just agreements that we should use the existing systems towards different goals which isn't a system at all.
Like... the people should "own" the means of production. That doesn't fucking mean anything. HOW would they coordinate and make decisions?
These "systems" leave out the most important part which is to actually develop a new system of coordination.
All they've done is create a learned helplessness in people that we can't create new actual systems of coordination and cling to the notion that the only thing that "scales" is capitalism and money.
And honestly capitalism and money do not scale that well.

we have to remember the system is not outside ourselves
people are the system. their beliefs, their actions.
and the system will defend itself through people.
I don't know why but the phrase
"computer, shit my pants for me"
just came into my mind without context
just create your own religion so whatever bullshit you want to do you can justify for "religious purposes"

we will never distribute knowledge at scale because monks have to hand copy books and that's very slow!
hierarchy will always be more efficient than collective organization because of information bottlenecks!
there's this weird class of prople who cuck to power and hierarchy and their best explanation is that in the past collective oriented organization has failed and that it can't scale like hierarchy.
like no fucking shit. the PAST. we're like 20 years into having any of the technology that *could* enable anything different
it's like the saddest most pathetic regression to the mean
things happening in the past happened because of the circumstances of the time. invention materially changes those circumstances. technology for communication and coordination is rapidly changing.
things don't just continue to go the same regardless of invention
10 years ago people told me that generative AI would never do what it does now. To the point they got angry at me for suggesting otherwise. They had never seen it so OF COURSE it couldn't possibly exist
Now these people try to claim knowledge over this domain despite their clear error on record.
Good luck with that. Try backpropagating your error buddy.
Which century do you think people suffered the most on average?
Which century do you think people suffered the least?

A sangha is a sangha or else youre doing everything alone
At some point my AI alignment work will break through into the larger public awareness and angry AI engineers will quickly and lazily try to disprove that work without really understanding it at all and I'll have this prediction to point back to that recursively makes fun of them in a meta-ironic way
And they still wont get it and it will make them angrier
