ALT Audience feedback for Birthmarked: Wow! Absolutely loved this show. It’s tender, meaningful, entertaining and moving. Definitely don’t miss it. And once you’ve seen it tell all your friends. This one deserves a packed audience.

ALT Audience feedback for Birthmarked: A real winner honestly. A piercing true story told with humour, music and terribly blunt, brutal facts about a young man’s rejection from his long-revered church. This personal history swings from pin-drop quiet pain to full-throated orchestral music in a snap! Clever, poignant, but most of all - important. Easily one of this years best and deserves as many stars as possible. A hard, hard story very well told. Congratulations to the cast… especially the whale. Whale you ask? Well! You’ll just have to go see it for yourself, you twit!

ALT Audience feedback for Birthmarked from Julia Green: If you only see one show this Fringe - SEE THIS ONE! Been coming to the Fringe for years and this in honesty one of the best shows I’ve seen. It’s full of surprises but above all honest and genuine - Brook is totally charismatic - want to adopt him!! 5 stars from me!

ALT The three members from FlawBored are gathered around a large armchair. Standing behind with her hand on the chair is Chloe, a white woman with blonde hair wearing a blue shirt. Next to her is Aarian, a Middle Eastern man with black hair who is seated on a stool behind the chair, his trainers poking out from the side – he smiles and looks off camera. Sitting in the chair is Sam, a white man wearing a black suit. Sam’s head is facing toward the camera, he sits slumped in the chair with his legs dangling over one of the armrests, his hand is covering his mouth in an intense pose. The armchair is sitting inside a large, open metal bear trap – the black blades around the edge of the bear trap pick up the light. The image is against a concrete background illuminated in purple and red.

ALT Image of the flyer for Birthmarked. An image of Brook Tate with half his face and torso in zebra face paint, with a zebra headdress on. There is a pink background. The text reads Brook Tate’s Birthmarked and there are two five star reviews from Plays to See and Bristol 247. There are logos for Bristol Old Vic, Horizon and Assembly. Date and time info is 03-27 Aug at 19:15 at Assembly Rooma BallRoom.

ALT Production shot from Birthmarked. There is a puppet whale on the left of the picture puppeteered by an actor wearing a raincoat. The whale is looking at Brook across the stage. Brook is wearing a light grey suit and looks scared. There is a drum riser at the back of the stage and 4 band members, hiding behind the instruments.
