HS football players: your coach is pushing you to do things that 95% of grown ppl can’t do. Discipline, work ethic, and toughness are not the traits of ordinary people. Trust your coach and what he’s asking you to do because he may just see some greatness in you

A5: We had daily tackling drills, but were minimal contact. We did profile drill, and preached constantly moving our feet and gaining ground on ball carrier. Then we worked a lot of "hawk tackle" drills, we stressed eyes to thighs, rap and squeeze. Said it a million #8manfbchat

On a side note, Every Tuesday we did Takeaway Tuesday and worked on forcing turnovers, recovering fumbles. Our players loved it and it led to many more forced fumbles and interceptions this year. We preached we don't just force a turnover we have a purpose when we recover
