may every dog who has ever slept on cold concrete eventually find a warm bed, a full belly, and a human who never lets them feel alone again.
Rescued dog touches his first real bed for the first time 🥹❤️

🇬🇧 In 2007, a struggling London street musician named James Bowen discovered an injured ginger stray cat in the hallway of his building. James was recovering from drug addiction and had experienced homelessness. Although he had very little money, he took the cat to a veterinarian, cared for his injuries, and named him Bob. After recovering, Bob began following James everywhere, even accompanying him on buses and through the busy streets of London. Soon, the two became inseparable. Bob perched on James’s shoulders while he played guitar and sold The Big Issue, a magazine that helps people experiencing homelessness earn an income. James later credited Bob with giving him a reason to wake up each morning and the strength to rebuild his life. Their extraordinary friendship inspired the bestselling 2012 memoir A Street Cat Named Bob, which became a worldwide success. In 2016, their story was adapted into a film, with the real Bob appearing as himself. But in June 2020, Bob died at the age of 14, leaving James and millions of fans heartbroken. On July 15, 2021, a life-size bronze statue of Bob was unveiled at Islington Green in London, near the streets where the pair had spent so many years together. Created by sculptor Tanya Russell, the memorial shows Bob wearing his familiar scarf and sitting on a stack of books beside a granite bench. James had rescued an injured stray cat. In return, he believed Bob had saved his life. Today, Bob’s statue remains a tribute to a friendship that changed two lives and touched millions of hearts around the world.

My Ram. My Sita. My Ramayan.
My Krishna. My Mahabharat. That's how some of us feel about our sacred history. It shaped our lives, helped us cope and made us stronger. Thus, it’s landed like a bruise. I have nothing personal against the filmmakers. Making a film on faith is a nightmare, and I understand the scale, the money and the global ambition. But the very reason it's so hard is the reason I can't bend. This is aastha, not just IP. Global appeal, a modern sound, a certain "style". I get the commercial logic. But this story travelled for thousands of years on reverence, not on adjustments. A liberty with casting, costume, music or a single line of dialogue isn't a creative choice to those who pray to these characters. It's a trespass. I'll wish Team Ramayana the best when the sanctity is intact. Do justice first.

"Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita, seriously?" "How is this musical choice appropriate for Ramayan?" "Why do they have this costume in the film?" It's a nightmare to make a film on a cultural or religious topic in India. You're basically trying to commercialize a story, that has people's aastha associated with it. And so, every person and his grandmother has a strong opinion on it. It is only fair. For you, it maybe a money making endeavour. But for the audience, it's their faith. And you better do justice to it. I sympathize with the filmmakers. You can have the best intentions at heart. You can do all the research, consult all the priests and experts, get the best talent from around the world, and still fall short in the eyes of those who feel so passionately about it (as they must). I humbly request the audience to also consider this. People putting thousands of crores of rupees on the line, obviously want the story to travel. Which is why certain casting choices are made. Which is why the action and VFX has a certain 'style'. Which is why it's called 'fantasy' or 'mythology' in certain parts of the world (there's an audience that loves this genre). Which is why musical choices are more modern for today's audiences (unlike Ramanand Sagar's Ramayana). Wouldn't it be great if the Ramayan were to travel far and wide? Wouldn't it be great if that is the story the world knows Indian Cinema by? It is certainly made at the scale and vision. This is the most ambitious attempt to tell the Ramayana in almost 40 years! Don't get lost in the noise of what Ranbir or Sai said in some interview, or if Vishal Dadlani is a communist, or why this 'leftist' artist was a part of this project. The Ramayana is bigger than all of this. Eventually, if the film breaks out globally, everyone gets to experience a story that is dear to billions of us. And that is the only thing that matters. It is about time that Indian Cinema made its mark globally, and what better story could be the vehicle, than the one most rooted in our culture and history? I genuinely wish Team Ramayana the best.

“If you are happy in your personal life, hide your happiness from the Internet. You don’t have to advertise it. The virtual world is full of vicious, toxic people.” @ShefVaidya 💯👏🏼
Unpopular opinion after seeing the fallout of the Rashmika Mandanna, Vijay Deverkonda interview and their attempt at damage control. If you are happy in your personal life, hide your happiness from the Internet. You don’t have to advertise it. The virtual world is full of vicious, toxic people.

Thank you, Barsha, for sharing such a beautiful video with an equally meaningful message. It is so true! Anyone who has travelled or trekked in the mountains knows how special these mountain dogs are. They become your friends, your guides and sometimes even your uninvited security guards, walking alongside you through unfamiliar trails and keeping you company throughout the journey. ❤️ They expect nothing in return. Just a little affection, kindness and perhaps something to eat. And the most heartbreaking part is leaving them behind when your journey ends.💔 They may have accompanied you for just a few hours, but the love and trust they show can stay in your heart forever. These innocent souls are truly bundles of unconditional love. ❤️ Next time you visit the mountains, please be kind to these beautiful dogs. Offer them food, water and affection whenever possible Sometimes, the most beautiful memories of a journey come with four paws and a wagging tail. #BeKindToAnimals #MountainDogs #Compassion

LoL am not surprised seeing a certain community coming at me! Wont change the fact that almost everything about the #RamayanaMovie is flawed thus far. And just to clarify, #Adipurush was absolute sin!
Replying to @sredits
That blue tick clearly didn't come with a functioning pair of ears or an ounce of musical comprehension
